Almost There: A Mom + Pups Rescue is a well-organized, clean, and sweet adoption center specializing in large-breed pregnant dogs and their puppies. The facility, a large warehouse unassuming from the outside, features an interior built completely around the dogs, with a massive play area and many spacious rooms for meetings. The rescue is noted as one of the nicest and cleanest, with a staff described as amazing, super friendly, and very helpful. They conduct thorough checks on potential adopters and provide extensive post-adoption support, including follow-up emails. The dogs receive significant socialization with adults, children, and other dogs. The staff takes incredible care to ensure the puppies are happy and healthy, with strict sanitation protocols like protective booties for visitors. The adoption process is effortless and well-organized, allowing potential adopters ample time to meet and cuddle puppies in private rooms. The rescue also hosts community events like puppy yoga. As a nonprofit, all dogs are altered, micro-chipped, and up-to-date on vaccines prior to adoption, with the staff genuinely prioritizing the animals' wellbeing first and foremost.
While we did not go in we did review this rescue's website and dropped off donations in their front dog house. A wonderful rescue. Lovely dogs up for adoption. Please support this local business!

I've had the honor of working with, and partnering with Almost There Rescue for a few years now. This rescue does amazing work, and helps out alot of puppies and mamas. Consider donating, adopting, or coming to a puppy yoga class of ours! :)

The love and care that they have for their puppies is something unmatched. They truly go above and beyond in every capacity to place each puppy in the most loving home. I recommend this rescue to not just potential adopters but to those who need assistance with mamas and puppies to find care.
