“The growth and understanding of how to strategize and scale my retail business that I have gained over the past year through We Rise and the Retail Boot Camp is staggering. I’ve learned different ways to think about how customers experience my products, and consequently feel like I have a better grasp on how to strategize moving forward.”

“Best part of February is when I get to go and purchase books. It’s easy here to find what your looking for and just as easy to take home a bag or two full of books. I would suggest making a list of books you want before going to help keep your goal books you want. Also have flexibility because sometimes a book just seem to pick you sometimes. Great people there to help you along the way if you need help or just want to talk about books that might also interest you. I will say reading others peoples take on books I would not normally get got me to step out of my normal. Your first time going make sure you have good shoes and be in comfy outfit and being a bag or to that can hold the book that chose to come home with you”

“I have struggled with addiction for many years. When I arrived at Crossroads I was beaten and demoralized. Zero self esteem. Immediately the staff here made me feel welcomed and valued. There is a gentleman by the name of Zak C. who talked to me about my situation and helped me get accepted into detox and and treatment. He deserves a raise. Very professional and inviting. Thank you Zak and thank you Crossroads”

“This mission is an excellent resource for clothing! That includes many shoes, some belts, a few bras and women's panties, and some hats. They have the biggest sending I've seen anywhere. (I haven't been an int The Valley, but of the six that I have visited, this one has the most.)Half of their clothes are just pulled onto large tables, and half are hanging on racks. I don't know if they're available had changed at all, but for the timekeeper that I made use of the mission, which was the entire first half of 2023, the 34th Drive location was open on the first Wednesday of each month. They opened their doors at 10 AM, so people start looking up at 9:30 AM. (They specifically instructed people to arrive at 9:30 because of the line that form. A lot of people use this location.)They give each household an **80 gallon** trash bag as they walk in. The size of that bag is the only limit on how many items a person can take. We walk out with an average of 55-lbs reach time we go. Yes, that's **pounds**. They give each household **pounds** of clothes, not just a few items like most places. The people who use the resources of this location are usually families of 4 to 6 people composed of a grandmother, a mother, plus the mother's daughters and grandchildren. It can get pretty loud. But it's definitely worth it. The volunteers that help out at the Phoenix Rescue Mission are just as nice as could be! If you need clothing, definitely visit this location.”

“Great little thrift store with a rotating variety of items. I've found multiple incredible values here. Plus unlike Goodwill, this store isn't paying executives six figure salaries and the money's actually going towards good causes.”

“Non profit company with a great mission to help advance medical education and research. The company strives to create and promote a great culture with a focus on teamwork and mutual respect. Great companies survive serious threats and challenges such as the covid pandemic, and UTN cetainly did with the teamwork and dedication shown by its employees and leadership. The atmosphere can be stressful, but also fun. Families and donors are treated with respect and gratitude for the gift they have given.”

“This place does an amazing job- really helping out the homeless with food & water, clothing and obtaining a government phone. During the peak hours of the summer when it's really hot, they let you stay inside Andre's house to cool off. Of course it's been known to be dangerous. There's a lot of desperate people seeking help a lot of hurt. We are at the end of times.... The devil's playground.”
