From modern items to cases of antique treasures you will find it here. And after finding something visit the great Museum and the Restaurant. One of the best Posoles and turkey, brie and cranberry sandwiches around. It is worth the visit and spending time.”

They used their platform to educate and inform the audience of harmful legislation that is so necessary and like the place to do it! “I love that this local art center and gallery showcases local and up and coming artists, even high school students. The sculptures outside are all for sale and extensive in variety. Inside, this repurposed house (?) is charming with several different display rooms. We came during the New Horizons Student exhibit and I was amazed by the talent of these local teens. The staff were very welcoming and knowledgeable.”

“Went here today for a Friday 13th tattoo today by Yoshi and was absolutely blown away from the professionalism and the expertise and overall experience. You would think for a Friday the 13th tattoo it wouldn’t be something creative or unique but Yoshi excelled all my expectations. He really took his time with me as his client going above and beyond what I even asked making sure to add in all small details and and even added in more color than I knew I would be receiving. My tattoo came out flawless and Yoshi know has a new client that is going to get more custome pieces from him as an artist. “Talk about a local gem in downtown Phoenix, this is the spot! This dynamic couple couldn't be more passionate about pottery. If you are looking for a lovely way to spend a day in downtown Phoenix, start with breakfast in Midtown, followed by a tour of the Hjalmarson Pottery Studio and a delightful conversation with the artists, then take in a show at the Phoenix Theatre Company or tour the Phoenix Art Museum (all very close by). Be a tourist in your own backyard. You have to schedule an appointment with the Hjalmarsons. They are open First Friday each month no appointment necessary. PS I own a number of their kitchenware creations and they always makes my food taste better and their mugs are a gift giving fav.”
