“My son just got married here on January 27th. It was absolutely gorgeous from the scenery of all the beautiful rare plants to the beautiful sculptures. This place was breathtaking. My favorite time was at night ? when the sun went down you could see the high cliffs and mountains the cactus and beautiful desert scenery. It looked almost like a beautiful painting. Perfect for a dream wedding. The whole thing took place during the day the weather is perfect at night just a light sweater will do. After the ceremony they had cocktail ? hour we all sat at this beautiful little patio hanging out talking and relaxing while they served cocktails. Afterwards then we all made our way to where the tables were set up so pretty to have dinner. They served delicious barbacoa,rice,beans and warm tortillas. A traditional Mexican dinner. The restrooms were very close by didn't have to walk far. The dessert botanical garden was just the perfect place to have a dream wedding or any special event.”

They were so helpful the day of, and very reasonably priced! Definitely will consider this venue for my future events!”

“HIGHLY RECOMMEND for your next event. We live nearby and have always enjoyed Aunt Chilada's. So when looking for a reception venue, they were at the top of the list! From inquiry to contract to communication to event, everything was amazing. Michele and her team were super accommodating. The menu selection was easy and everyone remarked how great dinner was. We had a few guests with special dietary needs, all of whom were individually served and loved their meals. Steve, the banquet manager, and the crew were so fantastic. Plenty of servers to take care of 125 people. Bartenders were quick and made great drinks. Even sparklers were handed out by the staff. We had our own centerpieces and the staff got everything set up perfectly. The champagne wall, too. I could go on and on!”

“We were greeted by Bob and Rick they were both kind and clearly passionate about the history of fire fighting. I had my three year old with us so they made special care to tell us of all the areas he could play and what truck he could climb in addition to the overall layout of the museum.On our way out, they gave my little one stickers, children’s tattoos, and activity/coloring book.My husband and I were blown away with their hospitality and passion. “Attended a wedding year this weekend and it was absolutely beautiful. The weather was very cold outside but they made sure that there were plenty of space heaters and they continuously checked on the tanks to make sure they did not run out. It felt warm in spite of sitting outside. Great attention to detail and super beautiful venue.”

“Great spot overall. I've been here 3-4 times visiting from east Coast and the vibes are excellent. People are very open and friendly but will also leave you alone if you're just trying to sit off your adventure for a bit. Lost my wallet this most recent time; made peace with not getting it back - lo and behold on way out, the security guard (who I mentioned I lost my wallet to earlier) stopped me and gave it back with all my money. Saved my night! Thank you sir!”

“The venue is absolutely beautiful. Lush oasis of tropical foliage and water falls. Great opportunities for memorable photos.The actual reception was elegant . The dinner was served hot. The brisket was tasty and tender. The chicken was pale and lacked pizazz. Fresh Vegetables were soft but tasty. Roasted potatoes were very good.”

“Overall the amphitheater is great, good sized, and offers plenty of differing vendors. The biggest issue was the parking as it seemed there were not enough spots. The attendants did the best they could to guide people to parking alongside the roads, it was a nightmare getting out.”

“A bit of a chillier day to go to the Gardens. The nice thing is it wasn't crowded and the weather was not intolerable. Our main reason for visiting was to view the Fernando Botero's (artist) artwork and then enjoy the surrounding plants and cacti. We walked over to the Dorrance Hall first where the art was being displayed. I felt so fortunate and honored to see his work in person. A tape of him, his artwork and family could also be seen in this Hall. He recently passed away making the work even more important. Many think his work was of "fat" people and animals. According to the tape he liked volume; i.e., bigger is better. Stunning Botero statues were displayed in the Garden and the Hall. His paintings could be enjoyed in the Hall as well.The Garden is undergoing renovations so it may not look the same as you remember. It is still a great place to visit and see cacti, herb garden, and plants. Be sure to stop by the store for a souvenir or just to browse. Large parking lot and WiFi.”

“My family has explored several historical homes around this era over the past few years. I have to say in comparison this tour could use some work. It felt under staffed and I could barely hear the guide because we all did not fit in the room. We did this as a homeschool Tour and kids were $9 and adults were $15. In comparison to other homeschool events. I would have enjoyed this event more if adults were free as the focus was on the children.”

“One of my favorite wedding venues in Phoenix. Beautiful modern industrial vibes and an amazing staff. Definitely feels like a hidden gem. A HUGE shout out to Lucas and Ana who helped me jump my car after the wedding and helped me get home safely. Lucas also quickly attended to a spill to ensure nobody had an accident.”

“We just got married at the Valley Garden Center and are so happy that we chose it as our venue for so many reasons…The outside area is well taken care of and absolutely beautiful. There is SO much space outside which was nice for people to have room and do their own thing if they wanted. They were not strict or stingy with their rules and were so incredibly helpful with any questions/concerns that we had every step of the way. You can feel the love/good vibes here. “Barcoa Agaveria- WOW. I had the immense pleasure of attending a hosted happy hour and meeting David (co-owner). The pride and thought that goes into every cocktail on the menu is impressive. David had something interesting to say about every single drink I ordered - even the $7 classic Canterino, which originated at roadside stands in Mexico. It's amazing how good tequila, fresh citrus, and Squirt can taste. The casual upstairs bar (deemed the Cantina) has a surprisingly great happy hour with $7 classic cocktails 4pm - 7pm every weekday. The bartender Ben took excellent care of us there before we headed downstairs to the elevated craft cocktail bar. I love mezcal, but I find that it's hard to get a balanced mezcal drink. Not at Barcoa- that's for sure. The cocktails are unique and thoughtful, inspired by dishes like elote and street tacos and containing fun ingredients like red cabbage liqueur. The bartender, Derek, was friendly and had great recommendations. I will definitely be back to try the rest of their menu (probably this Friday for happy hour. ?)”

They used their platform to educate and inform the audience of harmful legislation that is so necessary and like the place to do it! “I love being a Member in Good Standing, Sons of The American Legion especially at the Historic Post 1! It's like being in a bar before all the restrictions. Members at Post 1 enjoy great food, great drink prices, live music, car shows, off track betting, slot machines and smoking in the bar. “I visited the shop for the first time recently to find my wife a gift for our 15th anniversary (crystal). My wife likes likes some of the spiritual rock/gems/crystals, so I looked for a place to try and find something. The store was very nice when I walked in and I was greeted by 2 ladies. Both were helpful and asked if they could help. I let them know I was going to look around and they left me alone to look which I appreciate. When I had questions I asked and they were very polite and helpful. I appreciate when people are helpful and not pushy.”

“I don't have enough words to describe how wonderful working with the MonOrchid team was. I am an event coordinator myself, so when it was time for my own wedding, I knew I was going to be picky with my vendors. I got introduced to the MonOrchid through Alyssa, but ultimately ended up working closely with Samia for our big day. Samia was SO communicative, answering every single one of my questions. She offered amazing advice regarding the flow of the space and timing for the evening, and went above and beyond to get my 6-year-old son chicken nuggets the night of the wedding even though we hadn't catered those.The bar ran smoothly, and the food turned out incredible. I'm well aware that banquet food for a crowd can only be "so" good, but I got so many comments the day of and the week after telling that it was the best wedding food they had ever had. Knowing how events run, I thought I'd have some nerves around "something" going wrong as it always does, but I can truly say that from the venue and food side of things, it was flawless. I can't thank Samia and the MonOrchid team enough for all of their hard work!”
