Changing Hands Bookstore is an independently owned shop with four decades in operation. The shelves are chock full of new and used books, plus great gifts and cool knick knacks. The staff is exceptionally enthusiastic, friendly, and very helpful in assisting you to pick your next great read. The store has a quiet and peaceful atmosphere with a good kid area. The First Draft Book Bar, located inside, pours coffee, beer, and wine along with a menu of small bites. It is a little wine and beer area to read while having a drink, with happy hour deals featured every weekday. The shop is well organized and they seem to have an array of events and programs. Bonus points for ample bike parking outside.
Changing Hands is my favorite local bookstore! They have such a great variety and fun random items to explore. Always a good visit

Cute and fun shop definately designed to appeal to readers. The selection is limited as you would expect, I would like to see more nonfiction offerings but the variety of items and neighborhood store vibe is worth the visit.
