Chase Bank in South Phoenix has mixed reviews. Many customers appreciate the friendly and respectful staff, often noting good experiences and courteous service, especially when appointments are made in advance. Some reviewers highlight the helpfulness of the staff and their willingness to assist despite busy times. However, others express dissatisfaction with the overall environment. The location is described as looking trashy, dirty, and unwelcoming, with an empty, ghost-town-like appearance both inside and outside. The outside area is particularly criticized for being trashy, dirty, and lacking parking markings. Many customers do not feel safe at this branch and prefer to drive longer distances to other locations. Wait times are often long, and the absence of chairs and a welcoming atmosphere makes visits uncomfortable. Despite the friendly staff, the appearance and safety concerns hinder a positive experience for some. One reviewer shared that they are not allowed to open accounts here but still enjoy visiting because of the staff's recognition and respect. A strong suggestion from another reviewer is to make appointments for banking to avoid long waits. Overall, while staff friendliness and service are praised, the location's condition and safety issues significantly impact customer satisfaction.
My favorite branch to visit in the valley. Alicia is an awesome banker! Keep up the good work team!

Even though am not allowed to open up an account here I enjoy going and seeing the workers there because they know me by name and I'm treated with the upmost respect upon entering the bank cause I go there with a couple of friends of mine.
