Desert Dragon Pottery is a fantastic studio for both beginners and more experienced ceramic artists. It offers a very good way to try things out through classes like the Dirty Hands workshop, which provides an hour of workshopping with clay, a glazing session, and firing. Instructors are amazing, outstanding, and fantastic, showing the basics and each step along the way. They keep it real while making it a fun experience, teaching the right way to do pottery. They are great at helping correct mistakes but also teach students to embrace the flaws. Once they recognize a student has got it, they let them have fun and make the pottery their own. The studio has a peaceful and creative vibe and a wonderful clay community, offering inspiration and a sense of being a home away from home. It is a hands-on or hands-off experience depending on the student's level and needs. Everyone is super chill and cool, and students always feel super welcomed. The pots get fired in a very reasonable time, making it feel like Christmas when getting a piece back. For those scared they will not do well, they really do not have to worry. With good energy and a positive attitude, students get out what they put in and can find a new passion. The studio cat Princess even visits sometimes. It is an excellent experience and a really good time.
My studio home away from my home studio. It's a fantastic place for beginners. For more experienced ceramic artists, it can be a great place for learning and growing new skills. And for inspiration from the clay community there.

Man, the reviews here are scary and nearly kept me away from the place. But I don't know, I went and had a really good time. I did meet Mishy and there was an older guy there with white hair who was helping her out. He was super chill and cool. I didn't have any issues and will definitely go back
