“This is the best and friendliest needlepoint shop in the Phoenix area. Despite being from the Seattle area, I've tried to visit this place every time I'm down here. The ladies here are WONDERFUL and will drop everything to help you, even when the store is busy and bustling like it was during my most recent visit yesterday. On this visit I was on the hunt for a particular Alice Peterson tooth fairy pillow canvas and I had gone to another shop who supposedly had it in stock but no one could find it in the store. I saw Family Arts had it on their website so I headed over to take a look (and to browse, of course!). When I arrived I saw they were having a trunk show for Alice Peterson canvases (serendipitous!) and the one I was looking for was included! I had a hard time finding it, but several ladies helped me look until we finally spotted it in the stacks. From there I had so much great assistance in picking out threads, getting the canvas taped, and getting rung up at the register. I wish I could remember everyone's names but I know at the very least that Cathe, Susan, Barb, and (I think?) Didi helped me. They are all truly lovely ladies who I would love to stitch with sometime (if I ever have the time to stay in the shop to do so!!). So friendly and wonderful and caring. And I'm so thrilled I was able to purchase this canvas because I know my twins will love this tooth fairy pillow when I'm done! I'm so happy I was able to get it from Family Arts because they are truly the best!! Thank you ladies!! ❤️”

“I’ve always really liked Michaels but I’m literally obsessed with this entire store. I mean the place is huge & they have the craziest variety that you really can’t find anywhere else. Staff is knowledgeable & friendly. My new favorite Michaels.
Also.. a partnering company taping a box for a customer that is to be shipped out by UPS definitely IS a liability to Michaels as the company I work for is partnered with UPS as well & we are told to do the same.. just saying.”

“They made a golf cart windshield for me, it didn't have the mounting holes in it. The gave me a scrap of plastic to practice drilling on. The windshield looks great, my mom is very happy with it. I saved this place in my contact list in case I mom needs another golf cart windshield.”
“We had our sons birthday party at this location. I was a little concerned since they don’t have a classroom but they did a great job of blocking off an area in the back. The kids had a blast and it was a walk in the park for me! All I had to bring was cupcakes and goody bags. Would definitely recommend.”
“I have to tell you the most amazing story about Anna in the Framing Department. My husband and I were shopping and noticed the framing department's "Deal of the Week" promotion which was a pretty sweet deal. It's important to note, this was at like 4:00 on a Saturday and the promotion was set to end on Sunday. Anna was kind enough to explain how the deal worked and said that if we wanted to take advantage of it we could come back and see her before her shift was over at 7:00. So, we left to have an early dinner and look through our hundreds of photos. By the time we went back it was already 6:30. I had no idea how long the process would take but Anna helped us go forward. Let me say it took us longer than the half hour Anna had left in her shift but she graciously stayed to help us complete our order. At no time did she rush us or make us feel like we were a bother. I really appreciated her eye. She was a great help in assisting us with the photos we chose for our order, noting how they would be best framed and what the finished product would look like. We absolutely couldn't have done any of it on our own and I'm grateful Anna was there every step of the way. Her patience and kindness will be remembered and always appreciated.”

She keeps it real, while also making it a fun experience, she wants you to learn to do pottery the RIGHT way. I love the community and everyone else there aswell.
