“This is the best and friendliest needlepoint shop in the Phoenix area. Despite being from the Seattle area, I've tried to visit this place every time I'm down here. The ladies here are WONDERFUL and will drop everything to help you, even when the store is busy and bustling like it was during my most recent visit yesterday. On this visit I was on the hunt for a particular Alice Peterson tooth fairy pillow canvas and I had gone to another shop who supposedly had it in stock but no one could find it in the store. I saw Family Arts had it on their website so I headed over to take a look (and to browse, of course!). When I arrived I saw they were having a trunk show for Alice Peterson canvases (serendipitous!) and the one I was looking for was included! I had a hard time finding it, but several ladies helped me look until we finally spotted it in the stacks. From there I had so much great assistance in picking out threads, getting the canvas taped, and getting rung up at the register. I wish I could remember everyone's names but I know at the very least that Cathe, Susan, Barb, and (I think?) Didi helped me. They are all truly lovely ladies who I would love to stitch with sometime (if I ever have the time to stay in the shop to do so!!). So friendly and wonderful and caring. And I'm so thrilled I was able to purchase this canvas because I know my twins will love this tooth fairy pillow when I'm done! I'm so happy I was able to get it from Family Arts because they are truly the best!! Thank you ladies!! ❤️”

From helping me figure out how to submit my first card to PSA to always being super friendly and patient while I try to choose from so many options, they are consistently top notch. Today I watched as the owner helped a young collector learn how to look up comps to see if it was worth submitting his cards to PSA. That's the personal touch of a local store that I am lucky to have found!”

Very clean inside, very polite and sweet staff, Will definitely shop here again and again, although they are a smaller store so you may not be able to find everything here. I learned they do not carry the cloths here that are usually on one of the walls for things like quilting, or lining jewelry boxes with. But they do have some really cute miniatures!”

“They made a golf cart windshield for me, it didn't have the mounting holes in it. The gave me a scrap of plastic to practice drilling on. The windshield looks great, my mom is very happy with it. I saved this place in my contact list in case I mom needs another golf cart windshield.”

“The store is huge and the sale prices are great. I've always boycotted this store and it was my first time in, well I went to another store the next day! I couldn't resist the prices in today's economy!
At Bethany Home Rd store the girl noticed a flaw in an item, so I went back and got another one, and just left. I really liked that service. At the awahtukee store today being a Saturday, the lady looked exhausted, I asked what the prices were on three items as I only wanted them if they were on sale and she just read the price off the tag...twice.
Could do without the music.”
