Dollar General Phoenix is a store offering everyday essentials at affordable prices from right around the corner. It provides everyday low prices on frequently-needed items including food, snacks, health and beauty aids, cleaning supplies, basic apparel, housewares, seasonal items, and paper products. Customers can save even more with the myDG program, and this location sells tobacco.
Reviews describe it as a great, solid, and overall comfortable place to shop. Many note it is the best, cleanest, and well-stocked Dollar General they have seen, with a working Icee machine and any size fountain soda for $1. The store is described as clean, brightly lit, and reasonably safe, with friendly employees who provide great customer service and generous kindness without stalking customers around the store. Most candy is $1, and it carries basic cheap makeup and many good brands of cleansers and toiletries.
However, some customers report issues with stocking and pricing. Shelves are sometimes not stocked or merchandise is placed incorrectly, leading to discrepancies where items ring up higher than the shelf tag indicates. While employees have been noted to honor the incorrect price, the process can cause frustration. Despite these occasional problems, its convenience as a nearby location for everyday items makes it a go-to stop for many.
Dollar General was clean and friendly. Prices were ok perhaps some things were a little high but given the circumstances on the price of life today it's ok.

The stock guy that was working there helped me out. It was really nice of him.
