About Heard Scout Pueblo
Heard Scout Pueblo is a gathering place for the Boys and Girls Scouts of America (BSA) where they learn various skills, including pioneer and woodcrafts, leadership, and team building. The facility offers a range of activities, such as Merit Badges, Shooting Sports, and overnight camping. While the condition of the facilities has improved significantly compared to a previous visit, there is still more work to be done. The camp is located in the city but is situated against the largest municipal park in the world, providing a great outdoor experience for the scouts. The campground can be a bit noisy due to its proximity to the road and neighborhood, but it offers a nice hike up into the mountain, making it a great spot for outdoor events. Overall, the camp is well-maintained, and the staff is dedicated, despite some buildings needing repairs due to funding constraints.

This is a place of gathering for the Boys and Girls in the BSA. They learn skills together in a coed program rooted in pioneer and woodcrafts skills. Beyond that they learn leadership and team building skills with Merit Badges, Shooting Sports, and over night camping are offered for various events.

We went to the POWWOW for the 1st time. My cub had so much fun. We can't wait to return

The facilities are in much better condition compared to my visit in June. A significant improvement in the correct direction but more to do.
