“As a person who has been around awhile, I can be very skeptical of any thing new. I first contacted a larger established company to help me with using my equity in my home. I had to call every week to for answer, and they just didn't feel like I was important. Not Agave, especially Luke and Alex. They guide you through every step.They let you know what coming next. you will feel I like...this is Impossible , but they make it possible, with great customer service, and knowledge of the processes. In September of '25 we were put in contact with Clayton, who is an absolute GEM of a guy. No BS, no smoke and mirrors, just transparency, accountability, and unmatched attention to detail.
This process unfortunately took a lot longer than expected, due to some bad information we got from our first lender, however Clayton was there every step of the way and most of the time already had the answer for my next question. As we moved through the process, Clayton's tenacity and unfettered motivation really started to shine. It is very apparent that he loves his job and thrives in his environment and is a major asset to the Cross Country Family.
From the initial loan (different company) that had terrible rates, bad information, empty promises and an over all PAINFUL experience, to the ReFi with Cross Country and all of its hurdles, was a stark difference and there is truly no comparison.
I will be recommending Cross Country to whoever I can, as I know that, they will be well taken care of, and the mortgage process does not have to be as painful as it tends to be.
