Safeway is a convenient and friendly neighborhood grocery store. It offers a wide selection of groceries, bakery items, deli, and fresh produce like nice lemons and apples. The staff is pleasant, helpful, and provides great customer service. The store features services like Order Ahead pick-up, Grocery Delivery, and a spectacular DriveUp & Go™. While grocery prices are noted as crazy high and higher than the competition, discounts on the Safeway app can make a difference. The store is usually not too crowded with good checkout wait times. Overall, it is considered a nice store with good quality food and produce.

Changing my review to 3 star. Big thing is they shrank there bakery a few months ago. Miss the cranberry rasin oatmeal cookies, more various items. Now have to go to Albertsons on on Scottsdale and Thomas to get bakery items.
