This is the worst UPS store I’ve ever seen. The owner has a very aggressive attitude and charges fees that don’t follow the standard rates. I felt very uncomfortable

This establishment charges to pick up packages. It’s a holding fee.

My husband and I have been regulars here for a few years. We have only had positive experiences with each and every person that works here. Special shout out to Mike (who no longer works here), Brooks, Charmelle, Amanda and John the owner. There are other wonderful employees but I can’t remember their names. We are always greeted with a smile. I highly recommend this location.

Be careful. They will take your package and then never send them out. I sent out a package back in March, and it kept saying the shipping label was being created until finally 3 months later it just canceled the shipment all together. Went into the store and no one was able to assist me because only the owner John Crawford would be able to assist me. I left my information and was told he would contact me. Never did. Be careful of this scamming business.

Slightly rude. No, not slightly - very rude customer service at this branch. Others are ok. 24 W Camelback in Phoenix.

The employees here need to be trained in customer service and human interacting skills. I had barely made my way through the door and the male employee there quickly looked and told me they would not accept my package because of the size. I was returning two headlights, not my fault they didnt work and i need to return to the sender and they only provided me with one shipping label. He started going off how they are franchised owned and the owner will not take it. UPS should look into this location as they have a number of bad reviews and provide better training to your employees. They seem like they dislike their jobs, if you dont want to work there go find another job. Easy as that.

Use a different nearby UPS location if possible, here’s why: My company works with UPS daily, and I’m often dropping off at different locations so I see a lot. This one is a franchise and I personally spoke with the owner, and I’m still in shock that that owner spoke the way he did. There are plenty of UPS stores in the area, highly recommend going to the other ones and avoiding this one.
My company works with UPS next day air - which UPS stores will provide specific free envelopes or boxes for if they have them in stock. At this location, they didn’t have enough of the “free air” envelopes. When I asked the staff if they had more, they confirmed no, and pointed to the yellow envelopes that were out in the packaging area for customers. I questioned and asked if these could be used for for next day air and were free. She confirmed they were free so I used two of them. That day I was not charged for the envelopes and dropped my packages off and paid for my printing job. I came back on Wednesday to ship my supplies, this time I went to pick up the envelopes that I had been told were free on Monday. I had 14 to pack. After I was finished, the same employee that had told me they were free Monday, looked at me and said you know you have to pay for those (which I wasn’t even ready to check out yet). I told her I did not know that because they had told me they were free on Monday and didn’t charge me for them. Nor would I have used them to package up my supplies, I would have bought them elsewhere. I told them moving forward I understood, and I could even unpackage my supplies from today. The manager did not acknowledge their mistake in communication, and forced me to pay the $75. When she called the owner, John Crawford, he was even more rude. He said pay your envelopes so I can get off the phone. I’d say you should never speak to your customers the way he did, but really you should not speak to anyone that way. I paid for $75 for the envelopes, and took my packages to a store 5 min down the street where I had a great experience. I see more comments about this locations staff and owner. My company just switched from FedEx to UPS, we have been having some issues with UPS, but I will be reporting this one to my boss as well.

Disgruntled and Rude Employees! All 3 of them...wow! Was trying to ship a special battery, the same exact type that I shipped last week at a Tempe UPS store with zero problems. I walk in, and immediately they were like no, uh uh, nope can't ship that. I said actually you can, because I just had at the other location last week and also did about 4 hours of research on the topic to make sure before I even tried shipping the first one. She stated, it doesn't matter, it's what my boss says whether we can ship or not. So after approval from her boss, she magically became an expert on this battery and how it needed $90 worth of packing materials and all the special packaging. I said they charged me $20 to ship the last one. She didn't seem to think that was possible. Again, battery expert all of a sudden. So I took my battery, and will go to a much more helpful, customer service focused location. You should too!

The Negative reviews are accurate. No accountability for this store’s Owner and employees. I recommend seeking services elsewhere.

Every UPS Store is independently operated, and I've had great experiences at many locations -- but not this one.
I specifically called ahead to confirm three things:
1. That they had a notary public on staff
2. That the notary was currently available
3. That the notary would be there until store close
I was told: yes, yes, and yes.
I drove over within the hour, only to be told by the manager on duty -- in a rude and indifferent manner -- that:
1. The notary hadn't shown up for work that day
2. It wasn't her problem that I'd been given incorrect info over the phone
There are dozens of UPS Store locations. Avoid this one like the plague.

The people employed at this location are lazy. They mumble. It seems like they feel bothered to do their job or maybe they're tired of life.
