I've been a WF customer for 26 years and I've had it. I wanted to open a new account for my business that already banks here. How hard could it be? Well, very, very hard.I walked into the branch thinking that would work. Nope. I needed an appointment.I made the appointment and got a call later in the day to review what I wanted. Well, to open a new account for an existing business that already banks here I apparently need all the signers to come into the branch at the same time. That is just plain stupid.I simply cannot believe how hard it is to do business with this bank. It's as if they don't want more customers or more deposits. Come to think of it, that may be exactly what they want.

I had an appointment with “Kelsey”, but she did not show up to our day and time of appointment. And she didn’t take my information down or even get my name right to call back on September 6th at 4:00pm. That same day my wife got into a serious car accident at 11:20am. So from that point forward I was already stressed, filing a police report being onsite at the scene, getting my wife medical attention and a rental car plus dealing with insurance. Even all that, I show up on time and wait in a long teller line. Only to be told she didn’t show up, and to please wait in the lobby. That is 15 min, then I wait another 10-15 min for a banker to become available. At that point - I made up my mind to withdraw my funds and close a +8 year account and get a cashiers check and bring it to Chase since I’m in the private client banking tier(s). I had been a customer for 20 years through other products and paid off mortgages. But luckily for them, I was assigned to Lorraine Lopez. She empathized, and apologized for the wait times. Lorraine was polite and professional. Not ironic, she was at Chase prior, which now makes sense. Not sure what happened to Wells Fargo customer service at branches, but they need to steal more Chase employees. After some discussion, I decided to open a CD. She walked me through all my options. And I selected a 11 month CD. Lorraine stayed past branch operation hours and worked through the Wells Fargo paperwork, due to additional compliance and gov’t oversight. It took us 60 min to get through various paperwork. And she was moving as quickly through screens, and physical print outs. Lorraine definitely has been a bright spot and they are lucky to have her. While I was there, you can see her enthusiasm and passion for team work. Not a bad turn around for the branch and saving a long standing +20 year relationship which I was about to terminate. Kudos to Lorraine and the branch manager who was smart enough to hire her.

Sadly, customer service is not important here, only excuses. Came to make a simple change to a minor account and was turned away with excuse after excuse, and told that an appointment was required when staff were available to simply record our 3 signatures.

The operations manager Brittany is amazing and very helpful. There was a disgruntled and extremely disrespectful customer she had to deal with, I commend her so much for keeping her composure and helping her teller out. Very impressed, give her a raise!!!

This branch should get Zero stars if possible! You can't close my account while I am IN your bank? This is insanity. This branch has robotic tellers with no customer service skills or personality. The branch is sad and sterile. Go up the road to Desert (real people who understand courtesy and politeness and basic competence).

Worst bank and branch ever! Employees need to be trained on proper banking etiquette. Try and comprehend the idea of a line And enforce it. Just because I don’t walk in with a fancy suit doesn’t mean that I’m not as important. Take your money and business elsewhere there are lots of local credit unions here in town.

I think this is my first negative Google review, but I am disappointed with my experience here. They could not remember the password to their computers and by the time I was finally able to get my checks I came their for, they gave the to me for the wrong account (just noticed this which is what prompted me to write).

I wanted to open a checking account. Then, I was told to scan the QR code and open an account online. They said that's all they can do. They did not bother to help me out. I will be taking my money somewhere else.

Given the covid variants - you'd think a branch would keep drove through open to reduce out of people inside. I've never gone in during week or weekend when there is less than 5-6 people in line and the lobby doesn't accommodate that many people. Wells at camelback and 44rh is the best - managers jump on drive thru if coverage is needed. Paradise valley excuse is "people are out" except they've been out for over six months.

I'm sorry, what do you mean you don't have any tellers today? You are a bank right? Like... your telling me I can't do my basic banking right now because for some reason you can't keep people staffed? Also, are your bankers not capable of doing a deposit? Time to change banks.
