“It's the best camp in Prescott! Staff are amazing, the price is right, the food was yummy, and the production staff for our large group meetings in the Summit Lodge, John and PJ, were AMAZING. Our student group of almost 200 were comfortable, cared for, and able to be completely present. Thank you UCYC!”
“So much happening here!
I was there for a private event but there was an exercise class, and meals on wheels happening in other parts of the large building. It appears to be quite the center of the community. Everyone was friendly and there was a manned Information Desk- very helpful”
“THIS PLACE IS 'AWFUUULL'! How dare this place help me through hard times! The audacity of giving me not one but two jobs!!?? In this economy!? I think NOT! And JUST WAIT, WAIT until I drop this bombshell of horrible, radical information... THAT THE WORKERS TRY THEIR ABSOLUTE HARDEST TO SUPPORT EVERYONE AS WELL AS HELP THE TEENS GROW! UNACCEPTABLE!! ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE!
I love the launch.
(If you're dense this 'hate' is just a joke)”
“This place is a hidden gem! You've got to come down and see the prices, and it's for a good cause. Great people, great atmosphere! Don't forget the large book store next door”
“Pine summit camp. We went there for our orientation camp ?️. Pine Summit Camp and Conference Center is a retreat center nestled warmly amid the tall ponderosa pines and massive granite boulders of the beautiful gently rolling Bradshaw Mountains in Prescott, Arizona. Almost 1 and half hours away from Tempe AZ. It provides a complete array of indoor and outdoor recreational facilities, and opportunity for relaxation, reflection, recreation, and inspiration surrounded by tall pine trees and peaceful environment. Weather is usually nice and it’s also a good place to wind down, go for a run, and eat freshly cooked food ? ?. Photos may do some Justice but can not equal to the real experience. definitely like to go there again. They had bunk beds on which we slept but they also have individual cabins. What a Fun it was.”
“Just had another fabulous aqua fit class at the YMCA. I enjoy the weights, machines, the classes. After shoulder replacement last fall the therapy table allowed me to do my stretches and abdominal workouts without getting down on the floor. The trainers are top notch too boot. I have been using the Y since my retirement 17 years ago and can truthfully say I wouldn’t be alive without this facility and staff. They are welcoming and supportive. They provide scholarships for children. Thank you YMCA for supporting your community!”
“United Way of Yavapai County supports our community on so many ways. We are truly grateful for UWYC's team, volunteers and friends, for supporting our local non-profits in accomplishing their mission of helping our community thrive.”
“I love goodwill! As always, thrift stores are either a hit or miss, although Goodwill’s prices are a bit high for some items it’s still a steal, it’s cheaper than getting them brand new (Don’t listen to other reviews, yes there was a SHEIN dress for $20 but no one is gonna buy that anyways) and even then, I’ve found wrangler jeans with the original tag still on for $17. Not bad. There’s no way they could sell those for less and I understand that. Gotta make money some how. If you’re looking for brand clothes, (not really my cup of tea, just buy them new. I love vintage clothes.) you’re not going to get them for $5. Sorry.
I do wish though, that they had fitting rooms. They removed them from all locations, due to the pandemic ?”
“I received a lot of help from a young man named John while I was there. Despite me catching me on his way to take a break he took several minutes to help me out and was friendly and patient. He helped me find two things I didn't expect to find. Unexpectedly good customer service and workplace knowledge. Thanks John!”
“My family recently visited during a discovery weekend. We learned so much and had a great time. Although the booths were a little too advanced for my toddler, the play area was perfect! My kiddos especially loved the boxes of nature toys. The seashells were a huge hit! We hope to visit again soon to hit up the trails.”
