UCYC is a well-organized, Christ-centered camp that provides an enjoyable experience for church youth groups. The staff is fantastic, and the worship is amazing, making it highly recommended for any youth program. The camp offers a variety of fun activities, including paintball, that keep the students engaged and entertained. However, some areas could use improvement. Over the years, the maintenance of the cabins and the quality of the food have declined, with the food being described as "a little unpleasant" by one reviewer. Additionally, the management of the food line has been an issue, with students cutting in line. Despite these shortcomings, UCYC is still considered the best camp experience for many youth groups, with one reviewer stating that their students "immediately asked if we could come back for winter camp." The camp's fantastic staff, engaging activities, and Christ-centered focus make it a popular choice for church youth programs.
It's the best camp in Prescott! Staff are amazing, the price is right, the food was yummy, and the production staff for our large group meetings in the Summit Lodge, John and PJ, were AMAZING. Our student group of almost 200 were comfortable, cared for, and able to be completely present. Thank you UCYC!
