Hotel St. Michael is a nostalgic and charming historic hotel from the 1800s, beautifully preserved and tastefully updated. It boasts a perfect location right downtown in the heart of Prescott, on Whiskey Row and across from the beautiful town square. The location is walkable to everything, including restaurants, bars, the farmers market, and the Sharlot Hall Museum. The hotel itself is full of character with all wooden floors, an awesome old elevator, and a gorgeous gigantic lounge with high ceilings and historic aesthetic. On site are a bistro, the Lobby Bar, and the original speakeasy, Fire and Sword, which is a really cool club with live music. Guests note the super friendly, helpful, very nice, accommodating, and professional staff. While some rooms are small and may lack a fridge, they are clean. The hotel offers comfortable stays with great views, though some guests note occasional noise. Parking is available in a very close and covered garage behind the hotel. It is a gem and not a big chain hotel, providing a unique and highly recommended experience.
I have stayed in historic hotels before. If you want to experience the old west this is a good place.

We ate at the bistro and it's always a favorite place to stop. We are from out of state and it's a must do when we come in town. Good variety. LOVE that you can get breakfast later in the day too. Always good food and fair prices.
