“This place is a wonderful hidden gem. You came to Prescott for the rugged old mountain town feel, you came to grab a drink in a popular saloon or to relax in a speakeasy with live music. Maybe you came to dance late into the night at Matt’s but I really hope you didn’t come here to stay is a modern stucco hotel that’s part of a chain. If not .. you’re in luck! Sheldon’s lodge is little family owned operation with caring staff, nice clean rustic rooms that ooz charm and the best part ..it’s a quick walk to the down town square but far enough away that the rowdy downtown crowds of the late hours are not a bother. The thoughtful staff has a great selection of a late night treats, hot drink options, plenty of games to grab. The rooms are clean, authenticity decorated, and extremely cozy.Recently stayed here with my GF after not having been here for 6-7 years, was so delighted to see it’s still being ran the same way. ?Will be back again but won’t wait that long, thanks again for a great weekend ??Walkability: Easier walk to the best parts of fowntown prescott !”

“We stay here often, after having lived in Prescott for 5 years and moved down to the Valley, to visit and come for appointments. Clean quiet rooms, Las Vegas themes! Owners also own Bistro Wine Bar down the road with a complimentary glass of wine. Only complaint is no ice machine, you have to get ice from the front desk before 5, and no microwave. But since it’s an older establishment, it probably would overload the circuits ?Close to downtown and Lazy G!”

“Do you want somewhere beautiful and spooky? Hotel Vendome is one of the only haunted hotels I've been to where I felt this level extreme energy. This place was so active, it made my skeptic fiance rethink some things. We stayed in two different rooms including room 16 (Abigail & Nobles room). BOTH rooms were active. I will be updating this when I get a chance to write up what all went down, but for now just know that what happened to us here has forever impacted my experiences with the paranormal.”

“Large & Clean Rooms, Excellent Location, Good BreakfastPRO:++Nice rooms, large and very clean++Good location, close to downtown plaza.++OK breakfast & good quality cofffee.CON:--Hidden $7 fee for parking--Hot breakfast was not good, flat egg patty & sausage patty (to make egg McMuffin, would have preferred scrambled eggs) & mushy overcooked oatmeal (although there was some nice selection of toppings for oatmeal)”

“I originally booked a standard room for Valentine's day for my husband and I. We live in Wickenburg, & we just wanted a short get away for a night away from home. I received a call the day before informing me they gave us an upgraded room at no extra charge. What a nice surprise! When we checked in, we where greeted with wonderful customers service and super friendly. To my surprise, we where upgraded to the lodge! We love the atmosphere. And to be honest, I would have been completely satisfied with the original standard room. But this was an awesome experience. The lodge has fun family games, fire pit outside, & only a few minutes from whiskey row. We also ordered a cheese board & wine for the evening that was delivered to our lodge. The food and wine was delicious. We had an amazing experience. I can't say enough good things about this place! We will definitely be back & bring friends.”

“My wife and I had such a wonderful experience here for our anniversary!! Everyone was so friendly, and everything seemed to have gone the extra mile!! The prices are very fair as well. I intend to come back to this hotel for more holidays and I would recommend it to anyone!!Rooms: Each room is uniquely themed to different historical figures that had an impact on the local culture!!Nearby activities: There is a bit of everything to do within walking distance!!Noteworthy details: This hotel is a historical site!”

“We chose history over the Marriott or Hilton. It’s the right combo of history with modern conveniences. Food was phenom in the Peacock Room, suggest the Goose bump cocktail in the bar, outdoor and indoor ambiance is great. Shane, Dylan, jade at front desk made the day with old fashioned elevator service and historical tidbits about the hotel, Great walk to pizza, shops, the library and more. These folks were so entertaining… they would be great to host a trivia night. We will be back.”

“Absolutely amazing! Levi was not only friendly, courteous and accommodating but he truly went above and beyond. He is amazing at his role here. The hotel itself was very clean, breakfast staff was helpful and always kept things stocked. There was a soccer tournament in town at the same time and we didn’t hear a peep. Great Valentine’s Day getaway from the Valley and will absolutely make this our “go-to” place to stay when coming to Prescott. Centrally located close to stores and restaurants. Such a great experience!!”

No issues.Nearby activities: We seen a a car show near by in an outdoor mall parking lot. Spent two hours walking around. Also, a flea market near by and lots of old & unique stuff. Just the employees doing there work passing by all the rooms.Walkability: Walk ability is good, around the hotel, nice neighborhood in the rear.Food & drinks: Food & drinks, close by. “Had a wonderful time staying here during Thanksgiving week. Very clean, the rooms are spacious and well decorated, as well as many guest amenities, such as microwave ovens and mini-fridges. It wasn't too difficult to find, but they should really install a larger, colorful sign on the highway, as the current one blends in too well with the surroundings. My only other complaint, is that with such a large hotel, there should be at least two guest laundry facilities, as the walk from our room to the laundry was quite a long walk, made even more difficult with a severely arthritic hip. Overall a wonderful stay.”

“Very nice room, price was fine, manager was great. Last minute booking because of weather, road construction was great. 4 stars instead of 5 is because the room had just basics, such as soap. My bigger nitpick is when I ask what the total is, please give the total. It's small but feels sneaky, such as they said there are signs saying $5 charge for parking, but I didn't see them, and wasn't told or included when I asked for total price. Charging for parking that you find outside, not covered, parking space, in freezing cold, that you must have, along with very basic amenities I expect in a lessor hotel just feels sneaky, greedy, and kind of desperate. Over many properties I guess it adds up but when just as nice competition isn't doing it, and with a better breakfast selection. In the future I'll check availability at the others 1st. Not saying if needed I won't stay here, just a bit disappointed, it is a 2nd or 3rd choice for me now.”

“Super awesome staff! Clean room, it was my birthday, all the staff made me a card so when I arrived in my room there sat an amazing birthday card! Very beautiful place to stay, my husband and I will be back!”

“This is a cool little spot. I stayed for three or four nights for work. The check in and out process was really simple. Location is great to where ever you need to go. The lady at the front desk was really nice and held some of my personal belongings in the front desk area when I accidentally left it in my room after I checked out. The parking lot can be hard to navigate if you have a larger vehicle, but there is parking outside the front of the hotel if needed. The wifi is really spotty and slow moving - which is also used for the TV. The shower pressure is very light. I wouldn't mind going back if I have work in Prescott again.”

“My family and I spent a delightful New Year's at Antelope Hills Inn in Prescott. The place was clean, quiet, and exactly what we needed for a peaceful getaway. The beds were firm, ensuring a restful night's sleep. No complaints - I'd definitely choose to stay here again.”

“I really enjoyed this motel. The rooms were pretty clean and very roomy. We had the king deluxe room. Only minor gripes were the fireplace fixture didn't really work, the ice machine was behind the main office, so I had to run across the street, and water pressure in the shower wasn't great. Not a deal breaker by any means.Staff was friendly. Great location. I would definitely stay again!”

“Mom was woken up by a fellow hotel stayer doing laundry at 3am on the 3rd floor. Seems that workers spending the night do their laundry at all hours..which makes "thumping" noises. Mom wasn't to pleased. Room was clean. Breakfast was standard contentental; cold cereal, yogurt & a waffle maker.”

“Quaint little motel with beautiful scenery and plants surrounding. You can instantly tell the owners take pride in their little motel as even the lampshades are kept dusted. I don't see that often in the hotels I've been to in general. Decent shower head sprayer with adjustment available. Nice air wick lavender scent I loved the moment you enter the room (a little strong for my friend but they still found it nice) The owner also gave us a couple fresh extra towels and soaps/ shampoo that I enjoyed the quality of. Seeing as we showed up for an event, with my friend's face already very painted and ready for the event, that was comforting for later. There's a park across the street that was great for the kids the following morning too. Overall would definitely recommend and stay here again in the future.”

“The room I stayed in is out of code compliance because of a missing smoke detector. The tub was too gross to use. But the bed was comfortable.Rooms: My room sucked. I don't recommend the place.”
