This is the worst charging station. Currently only two of the four are working. How can you have the only charging station between Indio, CA and Buckeye, AZ, 211 miles apart, be so poorly maintained? It’s even worse when it’s the hotter months.

UPDATE Dec ‘23:This station remains absolutely awful. I’d tell you to go somewhere else…anywhere else…. except you can’t! There are no other options between Phoenix and LA. Only 2 chargers are functional; several EV owners have been waiting for over 2 hours. This is an awful charging station. Road trippers get stuck here because there are no other options on the route, and every time we’ve been here it has been a disaster. The stations are broken half the time. When they do work, they’re appallingly slow — currently getting 30 kWh from the “350 kWh” station.

Electrify America, please plan to increase Chargers. Holiday season is ruined if we have to wait in queues like this. Wait period is several hours 8 cars ahead of me and 5 cars behind me.

The parking situation at this location leaves much to be desired. We encountered issues with two spots that were non-functional upon arrival. Although we were able to get a reset after a quick call to customer service, it's evident that the limited number of available spots doesn't meet the demand for this area. Overall, more parking spaces are sorely needed to accommodate visitors.

This is been dependably available on the few times that I passed by. I was able to get a full charge. I traveled on a Thursday.

Horrible! Our second stop at the Love's truck stop in Quartzsite. First time took us two and a half hours to get a charger and get a decent charge. This time we're already here for an hour and a half and have only about 40%. One of the chargers simply doesn't work it connects and reconnects and reconnects. You can't even use it with a credit card. The other chargers claim to be up to 350kw but rarely run over 40kw. Obviously long distance electric car charging is not working yet... Unless you have a Tesla. My advice is don't buy an electric car if you plan to use it for long trips!!Spent a high percentage of our little vacation road trip sitting in the Love's truck stop in the motor oil isle!!!

The issue is only one charger is the super quick charger. We arrived and another car was plugged into a 350kw outlet with a second cable available. We learned we cannot both be plugged in at the same time. Why? So we plugged in to 150 kw with a plan to swap once the car ahead of us finished. Due to extreme heat we went inside for a bit and when we returned another car had just pulled into the 350 kw spot. The driver seemed uninterested in the idea that we were waiting. Based on location along interstate 10 it seems like more than 1 350kw station is needed. Still not understanding why there are 2 cords per device but only 1 works at a time. If this was a busy weekend travel day this issue would have been even worse. Disappointed.

350 kw stall giving 36 kw. As always, a terrible experience in a critical portion of LA-PHX travel. Rivian is able to maintain their CCS chargers across the highway just fine in this heat, but electrify America is just terrible.

I wish there was a way to get electrify America to listen to people about this charger! Literally the most important stop between az and ca.

Off roading in a bus to get to a charger is always fun. We pulled into quartzite AZ around 1:00 pm to recharge. 2 of the electrify america chargers were occupied and the other two were not working. We waited an hour before one became open. We really had to get creative in order to make it work. After all that trouble and almost getting out selves high centered, we found out that the charger was only putting out 9 kw... It would take us a few days to change at that rate. Our bus was at 50% which gives us a range of 100 miles and our next charging station at Buckeye Az was exactly 100 miles away...we we let the bus charge for 2 hours at the 9kw rate and got it up to 55%. We are now on our way to Buckeye AZ hoping that we will make it through the desert as well as the charging stations being free and operational when we get there. Otherwise we will be out of juice and no way to recharge.. it's currently 114 degrees f out side.

Electrify America really needs to get their act together. Although I've charged successfully here before the latest time I came here on a Sunday afternoon there was a long line of cars and had to wait over an hour to charge while baking in 109 degree heat. It's bad enough that EA only has four chargers on an obviously very busy corridor between LA and Phoenix but they're often downrated and can't charge anywhere nearly as fast as they should. Adding insult to injury on the day with the long line I could only pull 45 kilowatts max from the supposedly 350kw charger once my turn came. Even then I had to count myself lucky because the guy in an Ioniq 5 that had used it before me was only pulling 18-19! If anything is ruining increased adoption of EVs right now it's the horrible experience from charging companies like EA.

Charging here used to be a pleasure. Now demand is too high for the number of available charging units, when I come at least one is down most times, and they all run slowly when they do work. Do better, EA! There are 36 Tesla Charging units on the other side of the highway. Why are there only 4 Electrify America ones? It's a Sunday and I will be delayed at least 2hrs by this stop. There are 3 vehicles charging (fastest at 95kW), 1 broken unit and 4 in line behind me waiting.UPDATE. It's been a couple months and charging here is still awful. 2 of the four banks were capped at 50kW. One was running at only 73kW. The remaining on was running at 119kW. Perfect for creating hours long log jams. Absolutely consistently the WORST EA station I have used.

I can vouch what the previous reviewer said. The hyper fast charger isn't working. The 3 others are underperforming at 60kw when they are rated at up to 150kw. Today i arrived at 2pm on a Monday and there was a backlog of 2 cars so I was the 3rd in line. EV charging across America is atrocious atm

Avoid this charger if possible! It typically has huge lines waiting to charge. Today, the 350 charger was out of order so folks were waiting for the remaining three chargers.

Trash chargers. Don't stop here. My home system charges faster. 8kw on a 50kw system? Yikes. Do better and give me a refund for my time
