It is evident when management is so bad, they prioritize company profit and frugality over customers and their point system. It is clear when a company does not prioritize their staff. I'm not sure why they are intentionally inhibiting us from using our points but I am outraged not to mention the current manager and the way they talk down to paying CLIENTS is enough for me to never come back here, which is a shame. Do better. stop prioritizing your own finances above all else. And maybe more clients would come

Very disappointed in my conversation with staff member, Dana at the Hand and Stone near Lone Mountain in North Scottsdale. I was spoken to rather disrespectfully when I called to inquire about their services and any holiday specials. “There are no specials, only gift certificates “. I also asked what services they offered, microdermabrasion or dermaplaning, ? I was answered , “we don’t do dermaplaning so you can eliminate that”. With all the medical spas, and spa services that are available in the Scottsdale area, I think I’ll take my business elsewhere.

Mitra was great! I enjoyed the hydration facial, she coupled it with a lovely hand and neck massage.

Severe lack of quality staff at this location. When I joined several years ago, there were multiple experienced massage therapists, making the monthly membership an ideal solution. This has changed with significant staff turnover. Only one therapist (Tomas) is well trained and he provides a great therapeutic service. Most customers have recognized this and Tomas is booked months in advance , making it impossible to use the membership service for massage.I would not recommend joining this spa.

Not a kind place. They will arbitrarily perform services that were never agreed upon nor wanted and subsequently charge you for them. The ethics are so brutal it overshadows any service you received. Only go here if you want to be taken advantage of

The massage was great. Very relaxing and just the right pressure! I go there every time I visit my sister in Cave Creek.

The front staff and my masseuse, Tamara, we're all so amazing! Tamara is so knowledge in prenatal massages and left me feeling much better than I came in. My sciatica was acting up during pregnancy so she helped with that issue along with some back pain. 1000x better than the other hand and stone locations I have visited

I was given a gift card for Hand and Stone for my Birthday. My only complaint is If you want a massage you must book in advance. Same day appointments are not available. The first appointment I made over a week in advance was canceled a few hour prior to my appointment, due to the therapist being ill. When I arrived for my rescheduled massage Kate greeted me at the front desk and was very nice. The facility is easy to find and very clean. The therapist addressed my issues and it was a very good therapeutic massage and I definitely was feeling better when I left. I purchased 4 massages on their Christmas in July Promo for the entry price. I scheduled a massage over two weeks in advance. The therapist was pleasant and I it was a very relaxing experience. I look forward to my next appointment!

Walked in to purchase gift cards, staff was so welcoming and friendly. Spa was beautiful and very clean. Although I came to buy gift cards, I booked a massage and facial, I can't wait.

Being thankful not only shows good manners, but a simple expression of thankfulness can go a long way in relationships and communication with others. It not only enhances our own lives, but makes other people feel appreciated,

The only thing I do not think that dressing time and cleaning time should be counted in the massage or facial time allotted. That time should be covered by the business in its overhead expenses in my opinion. Other than that I would recommend this place.

I received a gift card from my daughter at the holidays. I was excited to finally get to use it at Hand & Stone! It is located in a shopping center that has AJ's in the same center. First, walking in I have to say I was impressed with the interior and the serene atmosphere. I was greeted warmly and filled out a brief questionnaire with some medical information. Then, I was introduced to my massage therapist Jalysa. She led me to the room and I made myself ready. The massage was fantastic! I upgraded my service with hot stones, and the peppermint scalp massage both took my massage to the next level! The certificate was for an hour but, I added an additional half hour while making my appointment. It was really a fantastic massage that really worked the kinks out from all this pandemic stress! The establishment was clean, tranquil and practicing safe social distancing. I was extremely happy with all levels of service I received from the initial call, to the lobby and the service itself. I will definitely be back!!
