Orange Tree Golf Resort features an 18-hole golf course designed by Johnny Bulla in 1957. This tree-lined course spans 6,775 yards and offers a challenging experience with mature vegetation, expansive fairways, and scenic mountain views. The course, which has a par of 72 and a slope rating of 121, has improved significantly in recent months, thanks to a new groundskeeping crew and superintendent. Many recent reviews highlight the revitalized condition of the greens and fairways, noting that the overseed has brought the course back to its former quality. However, some players have expressed concerns about the pace of play, with reports of long rounds, particularly due to larger groups being allowed on the course. Additionally, players have mentioned a lack of communication regarding certain restrictions, such as cart path only rules and the prohibition of woods on the driving range. Despite these issues, many recommend giving the course another chance, as the overall condition has received high praise. The improvements made at Orange Tree Golf Resort offer a promising experience for golfers of all skill levels, making it a notable destination for those looking to enjoy a round of golf.
