Paul set up our rental for two trucks and trailer. He was so helpful and patient. Ken was also helpful to go over loading specifics when my husband picked up the truck and trailer. We have rented/returned trucks from this location a couple of times. Penske trucks are newer and well maintained. These guys are great. I highly recommend.

We were pleased with the service from start to finish. Alfredo and his nephew (Carlos) were helpful. Patient and efficient. We would use again.

Penske saved the day with my move and Paul was instrumental in how smooth and easy everything was. They are lucky to have Paul on their team and I was lucky to receive his help and expertise.

So happy I gave Penske a shot! Uhual called me 1 day before my reservation and told me they can’t fulfill it and if “I want to drive to Tucson to get a truck, I can”. Ken at Penske helped me choose the right truck and was very nice. He saved our move! Thank you so much again, you’ve earned a life long customer out of my fiancé and I.

I had to extend keeping the truck due to my move being much more comprehensive than I expected. The staff was great and accommodating!

I rented a truck here for a 1-way rental to San Diego. (I still have the truck.) I guess the objective is to get rid of your worst vehicles by sending them away on a 1-way trip. Reeeeked of cigarette smoke, no ventilation (or A/C) through the top vents, washer fluid was empty, headlights out of alignment!

My Family made a Reservation with Penske nationwide call center for Phoenix Az. Not Scottsdale Az . We were contacted by PAUL . A very rude individual. With no customer social skills or service service skills ....PAUL, didn't like us asking about the transmission (what type) he hung up on US got really upset, yelled at me and my Dad hung up on me hostile . very hostile . For no reason he then called me back, to tell me my Reservation for Moving Truck to move my family is voided. He then told me I will be placed on a do not rent list or DNR. in his computer, with no reasoning no problem and no authority to do so ...We didn't even get, to Arizona yet !! He put into the computer we cussed at him and threatened him . None of this is true , Last time I checked this type of behavior in a company computer is called fraud !!! PAUL IS A COMPLETE LIARAND A BAD EXAMPLE FOR PENSKE TRUCK LEASING.I only asked a simple question that he obviously did not know the answer too. PAUL should be Fired , Retrained, on Customer Service and people relations. This is very stressful world at the moment, the last thing a family needs to a simple question, is all of this when they are Moving.....and answer would have taken 2 seconds and is part of the job .PAUL be there to assist a problem? Or cause un needed tension and problems for a moving family with children? I think we all know the answer morally. I was raised to respect families and children.I think we all know the answer here. Paul have you seen Karen ? Penske Paul 2020.....................

Not reliable. On 2 different occasions we reserved a large truck and got a reservation number but when we arrived to pick up our truck, they said they didn't have ours and had none available.

We rented a 22’ truck one-way from Houston, TX to Scottsdale. When we picked up the truck and got on the road, it was cool outside but by the time we got past San Antonio and into west Texas, it was evident that the AC in our truck was not working in ~105 deg temps. We called Penske to see what our options were and were told we could 1. Pull over and call roadside assistance to wait on a mechanic (in the heat) with the potential of having to unload and reload our belongings into a second truck or 2. Keep going and inform the return location of the issue to be partially reimbursed since we signed an agreement on a cooled truck. We kept our personal belongings in the cab, and several items (makeup and vitamins) had completely melted during our trip due to the heat, and when we told Paul about it, he completely blew us off. He put his hand up to the AC that was blowing luke-warm air at best and said “seems like it’s working to me” and faulted us for not accepting roadside assistance when god knows how long we would’ve been waiting in the west Texas heat for help. So if you prefer renting a truck without functional AC to move in the heat and then being called a liar to your face when you tell Paul about the issue, this is the place to rent from. This is the first negative review I have left in my life because I don’t like to denigrate businesses for isolated instances but the lack of respect we were treated with was beyond disappointing.

Paul was extremely rude! Penske rented us a truck from Houston, TX to Scottsdale, AZ in September with no working air conditioning. We were faced with over a 20 hour trip with a large portion in 100+ degree heat. Several personal items in the cab of the moving truck were ruined. It felt like we had taken our suitcases out of an oven when we unloaded them and the driver switched shirts multiple times. Paul basically called us a liar to our face when we went to return our rental truck and told him about our issue. I placed a call to the location in Houston that I had rented the truck from during our trip and they assured me that we would be accommodated for our inconvenience when we returned the truck in Scottsdale because it was an actual Penske office. We were in West Texas when ambient temperatures rose and it became clear the AC wasn't working, likely very far from the nearest mechanic with road side assistance, and we didn't want to be stuck out in the 100 degree heat any longer waiting for an unknown period of time for help. I have never left a bad review before because I would hate to have a negative influence on a company's business, but I would not wish our moving experience on anyone. They might offer a AAA discount, but it is worth paying a little extra money to have a rental truck that has all of the amenities you are paying for working properly. We will use a different truck rental company in the future.
