Ventana Apartments is a community in North Scottsdale, conveniently located just off the 101 Pima Freeway with stunning views of the McDowell Mountains and access to nearby hiking and biking trails. It features beautiful and spacious one and two bedroom apartments, including townhouse floor plans, with expansive patios, nine foot ceilings, and very large, professionally designed interiors. The property itself is very nice. Reviews from residents and visitors present a mixed experience. Many praise the spacious apartments, which are described as big and priced efficiently for the area. The management team has received compliments for being kind, professional, and treating residents with respect, dignity, and a familial warmth, striving to make residents feel welcomed. Maintenance is noted for taking very good care of residents. However, significant criticisms exist. A major concern is a high turnover rate attributed to substantial annual rent increases, where long-term residents report being charged much more than new residents for the same units. Other reported issues include bugs, old appliances that do not work, a lack of upgrades, and vehicle break-ins, with some residents feeling management did nothing in response. This has led to disappointment, with a sentiment that the community cares more about money than loyal residents. Despite these drawbacks, the space and price remain tempting, and the community is still recommended for a tour.

I visited Ventana in North Scottsdale. I met with the manager Ana. Ana was so kind, very professional. A great personality. Ventana apartments have one and two bedrooms with very large floor plans. These apartments are in a great location near stores, food, and the freeway which is a must. Loved the community and they do monthly food trucks which is uh-mazing! The community manager Ana has done an amazing job!
