“Well, allow me to start off this review by saying I must love calling Morningside "Home" as I have lived here for 14 years now! This complex has everything one could desire......great apartments, great management, great maintenance, and great neighbors. The complex is so close to shopping, the 101, and mountain trails to hike upon. Any problem that one might encounter is handled promptly and professionally. The parking area is well lit, there is a locker area for packages so nice and secure, and the area itself is a very safe one. So glad I found this gem back in 2009!”

“Better experience than other apartments I have lived in. Fiber Internet for cheap via CenturyLink is also a plus and hard to find anywhere in Phoenix besides terrible Cox.I'm not going to pretend that this place is the most amazing in the world, but the location, amenities, and are solid for what they are.My biggest issue is the very inconsistent additional charges outside of rent, tax, water and sewer, and trash. Lots of little fees that can quickly add up. We are paying about $200 extra per month on top of rent.The quality of the apart fixtures and fittings are no better than a place that is $500 less, but your paying more for location here anyways.”

“Our experience with Kelly at Camden San Marcos was outstanding. Ever since we took the virtual tour and made the decision to fly across states only to go house hunting. We made Camden San Marcos our first stop and this was solely due to our experience interacting with Kelly. Kelly answered all our queries and helped us with our in person tour as well as online queries. She was kind and well informed about even the minutest of details about the property. We were honest with her and shared that we may be looking at other properties which may be closer to our place of work and that did not change her approach while dealing with our queries at all. This talks volumes about customer interaction and how that makes a lasting effect.”

“Stayed at Casa Santa Fe for 8 months while our house was being renovated. The management was great to work with when our move out date was delayed due to the renovation.Only had one maintenance problem and the maintenance crew were friendly and timely.Overall had a pleasant experience while we lived there”

“I’ve lived here for about 9 months and love it! The location is great and it’s pretty affordable. The office staff are always super friendly and the maintenance team is great too. The inside of the apartments are also pretty decent. Some of the machines in the gym need to be fixed/updated, but they do have pickleball courts and upkeep the pools pretty well (just wish they were heated or had a jacuzzi). The complex can be super confusing to navigate so some extra signage would be nice for guests. Luckily we’re in the back of the complex so parking isn’t an issue, but I could see finding an open spot difficult for those located more in the front. Overall, I’d highly recommend living here.”

“I've lived here for a year already with my two brothers. We fell in love with this complex when we took our tour in 2023. It's very quiet except for some kids playing but that's expected. But we feel safe living here. There's little to no crime in the community. I'd give it 10/10 stars if ci could. My window screen hasn't been replaced yet from the storm that happened a few months back..no complaining tho bc I get crazy day light in my room..”

“The entire staff is very high quality. The property is beautiful. the neighbors are nice.The renovated units are like living in a small but superbly appointed house. Front load washers/dryer, quartz countertops, beautiful paint and shower tiles... lovely light fixtures ... and on and on.We LOVE living here because of the apartment itself, but even more so because of the excellent staff. Phil and Rob (maintenance), and Crystal and Sarah (office) are all GREAT at what they each do.”

Never had any issues in the 3 years - Loved being out by the pool on warm days - Pool area is -- AWESOME ! He was able to assess the problem quickly once he determined that it needed to be replaced he immediately went and got a new one all within less than an hour. “I’ve lived here the last 13 months and loved it with the exception of a few things. Here’s the most honest review you’ll read.Pros: 1. Leasing agents Emily, David and past ones have all been amazing. Leasing staff does change often. Maintenance 10/10 Ariel, Randy and the new maintenance guy (I forget his name) are absolutely amazing.2. My one bedroom was beautiful. I rarely had issues and never saw bugs inside which is a fear of mine.3. Rode my bike to Old Town and the farmers market often. Felt safe here as a female and living by myself.4. Great gym and amenities5. Community eventsCons: 1. Parking did get better for awhile before the Luxe installed the digital parking passes in my last few months of living here. Then it got stressful filling out paperwork multiple times.2. I wasn’t advised of major renovations when before I signed so my unit sounded like a construction zone all day. I work remote and it was brought up by my leadership because they could hear a crane beeping on my work calls.3. The other residents are dirty/inconsiderate at times. Leaving garbage out when they shouldn’t, so many ppl don’t clean up after dogs, food in stairwell that doesn’t get cleaned for months, smoking weed in the stairs instead of outside, etc.4.THE FEES- this was the reason I had to leave. My base was $1600 but after all of the fees I was paying over $2,000. When I got my renewal letter month to month was $2900 base rent plus fees for one bedroom and my rent was raised despite one bedrooms being cheaper on the website. I tried negotiating and corporate wanted nothing of it.”

“Was a rough start moving in. They had just switched companies. I think we've gone through 3 property managers since we moved in June.There was a lot going on with the apt. Was not happy with the bumps and turns we endured.That being said, makayla has been amazing this entire time. Anthony the maintenance guy is always so friendly. The newest manager is a delight.As for the apt, most of it is cosmetic that was an issue. As long as we aren't charged for the damages that were already here, then we're happy!Amazon doesn't use the lockers. I think ive gotten 3 of my many packaged delivered to the lockers. I wish we could opt out of paying for the lockers. I even leave notes for Amazon to use the lockers and they don't. However, this is a nice neighborhood. I, nor my neighbors, have had issues with people stealing.The only thing that truly bothers me is no closet in the common spaces. I just want a place to put my mop, broom, vacuum, and so on.Location is a must for me and this location is prime!!! I dont drive, so living in an area I can walk to almost everything is a delight! I didn't know for 4 months there was a harkins across the street!!!Almost always have the gym to myself, but I feel uncomfortable when I go at night and people walking by stare at me. Just a me thing. Not a complex thing.Everyone is pretty good about going to the wall/sidewalk to smoke, but i swear someone smokes right outside their door once in awhile. I step outside and start coughing bc it's just suck a strong smell of ashtray. Another time the entire complex smelt like weed and it wasn't us. Luckily, management was on it! They sent an email to all units addressing the smoking policy and it stops! So that's amazing.There is also a trash company that picks up 5 days a week! Just leave the can outside your door:)9/10. I plan on releasing.”
