If I could give them a negative star I would. Worst internet provide that has ever existed, save yourself the stress and suicidal thoughts and don't get cox. They seriously make me question my sanity everyday like when I was doing a 3 hour long assignment from my biology class and my internet went out right before I was about to submit it which caused all of my progress to delete. Honestly I hope you all get the exact cancer i was researching for 3 hours today (all for nothin) and now I can't even make up the assignment. kys

Worst company ever. Not interested in helping their customers. Try calling you get to talk to somebody in India, or some other country who knows. I can't type proper English or help you in anyway. My data usage has always stayed within allotted amount except for the past couple months, it has skyrocketed. The only way they will help you is to send a technician out and charge you for the visit which they can twist into at all being your responsibility. If I had another option for cable, I would definitely take it.

The worst internet service ever. Just don't. You can find something much better out there than cox. Example; went 3 full days without internet service because of outages in my area, yet no one from the company could provide an ETA when service would start again or what the problem was. They outsource their customer service representatives. Good luck if you decide to sign up with them. No contractual agreement required. You can quit anytime, so that is a plus. Not worth it.

The staff here were very kind and helpful. We had a complicated situation with a previous tenant forgetting to cancel their Internet and so we had to go in and get it done. It was fast, and easy. And then when we ran into further troubles their technician came out and gave us more incredible service.Overall I was very pleased with our experience and I look forward to working with Cox more in the future.

I got the internet service today, but I had trouble to get the connection. I went to the store, they could not help me but scheduled a tech to come out to help 2 days later. So I called the tech support. Sharik (sorry, if my spelling is wrong) helped me solve the problem right there. I’m happy about I don’t have to wait for another two days to have the internet.

I was a customer for four years paying $300 monthly and never once got a call, emailor text. I canceled Seot 21st, 2023 due to an out of state move. Since leaving they have called, texted and emailed me over ten times. I finally had to become abusive. I'm filing a complaint w BBB and COX for harrassment.

I have been thru hell with Cox for the last two days.I ordered to have my existing internet, Contour TV WITH DVR subscription , and home phone moved to my new home in total,, no changes.I take all the boxes and equipment over to my new place and install without any problems. I check my DVR device and none of my planned or existing recordingss were there. I tried to set up a new recording and a blue button appears on the screen with line thru it and the words "DVR subscription required to record". I "chatted" with someone for an hour to no avail. I had to leave so this morning I tried the DVR and I get the same message and no DVR. I tried it a couple of times and then the tv goes blank.... My fitters and everything else worked except fo the TV. Chatted again for an hour and now there is a tech coming tomorrow with the threat of a possible $100 charge.I went into a Cox store in Surprise to see what could be done. NOTHING!! All he said was? I see an order for the DVR subscription, check it when I get home, except the TV isn't working.By the way I have Cox Complete Care but the technician visit isn't covered. Agent at the Surprise, Bell Td store was ZERO help.

Honestly I'd give one star, but the employee I dealt with today was friendly, efficient, fast and kind. I have been a cox member for many, many years. When my first interactions with them started prices were a bit high, but manageable. Then they basically forced me into having a house phone with my internet even though I never use a house phone and did not need it. I was told that is the best way to "save" . Fast forward a bit and they stopped the near forced bundling, but their once unlimited internet turned into constant overage charges and it was again like I was forced to go to their unlimited plan which took my bill up another ridiculous amount. I called more than once over the time of my account having to ask for some kind of retention rate which always expired too quick or my bill would skyrocket. This week I had enough when I was told just for internet I'd be paying $160 a month for unlimited. I looked into other options and am now paying $55 monthly at a locked in rate. No overages, no modem, just Wi-Fi. It was way too easy to make the decision to switch. The last few years I have felt like just a dollar amount and it showed when they couldn't offer anything close to my new plan elsewhere. Again, yep stars for the great employee today ( sorry didn't catch his name) and for a clean and organized store. The parking lot sucks and is shared with Home Depot and more. Getting in and out can be challenging.

Cox is the absolute worst internet I’ve ever had. Constant outages, data limits with outrageous overage fees, and a high price! So not worth it for the reliability issues considering I work from home, and the cost.Had to return modem in person and wait hours at the store just to cancel account that had already been cancelled online?

This place is worthless. I'll never use Cox for any kind of service. I started services online last night and chose the option to pick up equipment in a store that is local. I show up to the store and there is at least 15 people in line. I go to the counter that has 2 guys just standing there doing nothing but talking to each other, and ask them if I can pick up my equipment. They tell me I have to sign in and Wait in line, since it is first come first serve.... More than half of these people are their for some kind of phone service. It makes no sense on why they couldn't help people that were just needing to pick up equipment they ordered online.... It's like ordering pizza online and having to go to the place and wait in line of 15 people just to pick up your pizza.... Highly don't recommend cox and their services.

The technicians are trash. Grid placement sucks. Literally a thunderstorm yesterday morning knocked out our grid and it’s still not fixed. Until I looked at the gateway and it says it won’t be fixed until 8/22 at 12:03. I have a work meeting I need to attend at 8 today. And the plan better not still be credited towards the bill for the 6 days it could be out. Been with cox since 2017. Service used to be great. Have the Gigablast plan. Now it’s trash. WiFi literally shuts down for 30 seconds and turns back on. I’m having to use a hotspot on my phone just to stream and do my work stuff.

The people there are terrific. The salesperson who helped us was so happy and helpful. Got everything we needed to get us set up.
