Learn from my mistake, DO NOT buy a used vehicle from Acura Tempe. The reconditioning/maintenance that was done was so sparse compared to how they presented it to be. As you can see in the photos taken within a few days of taking delivery, the engine air filter is dirty, the coolant level is below the low level, the oil drain plug is leaking and the cabin air filter is extremely clogged with debris. Did they even really change the oil like they said they did? Any average person would expect this from a private party or a shady dealership but would expect a more thoroughly inspected/reconditioned vehicle from a high line dealer. What did they even do before they sold me a vehicle? A 3 point inspection? On top of all of that, they don’t offer any other assurances other than the standard 15 day, 500 mile warranty which is required by Arizona. Seems like the used car department just wants to take a trade, change the oil (maybe), detail it and then list it for sale at full retail price. YOU’VE BEEN WARNED. STAY AWAY FROM BUYING A USED VEHICLE FROM TEMPE ACURA!!!!

Everytime I go in for a service, I always end up with another problem or the same problem was never completely fixed. Always a 2 day trip for me whenever I go for minor things. Had a tire issue they said it was a nail. I get in the car it still says low tire pressure. They put air in the tire. The next day I take it back for low tire pressure and what do you know..the find a nail in the tire 3 inches away from the 1st nail..how was that missed the 1st time. So now that one was too close to the edge for a repair so I need to replace it... thank goodness for insurance.

One of the best car service centers I’ve been to - not much rush and amazing service advisors. If you get a chance ask for Doug Peng - he is kind, straight forward, makes it easy to get in and out, and provides great advice - oh and they don’t overcharge or keep finding issues every time you take the car in for a simple oil change. I look forward to taking my car in for service - never thought I’d be saying that…ever.

The sales person and sales manager are great, however, the finance guy is not honest. If you don't get something he wants to sell to you he simply just increases the interest to match the final price, tries to make it look like he is helping you but in reality I guess he just wants to get the final price to his goal.Would give one star but, the sales guy that showed me the car and the manager are the only reasons why I don't.Would not buy from them again or take my oldest kid there; now that she is looking for a car.

After looking for a CPO TLX for a month, I decided to expand my search out of my home state and came across an available vehicle at Acura of Tempe. I was connected with Rob D. and it was a great experience. Being an out-of-state buyer, i had many risks, but Rob had all of my questions and concerns answered. Since Acura of Tempe had many customers from out-of-state, Rob and his staff knew all the process and details of how everything works. After a week of discussion, we came to a deal, and it was time for me to fly down, test drive, and seal the deal. Rob picked me up from the airport, and also was patient as I did my own multipoint inspection and did the test drive. When we got down to final business, all of our negotiations were just as discussed earlier that week. This made all the paperwork process easy, and everything was done in less than 3 hours (including my long thorough check of the vehicle and test drive). I hired my own delivery truck company, and the dealer knew exactly what to do, for a smooth transition to the trucker. Highly recommend this dealership, and it you are buying online, Rob is a great guy to work with.

Avoid the service department here. I took my 2015 Acura RDX in to have an AC issue checked out and they recommended $2500 in repairs and charged me $213 just to diagnose the issue. I took it to Hontech for a second opinion they had the issue fixed same day for $130, all it needed was more freon. Acura recommended I replace the timing belt which has nothing to do with the AC system, I assume they must have meant the serpentine belt. Just to be safe, I had the both the timing belt and serpentine belt and they were totally fine, nowhere close to needing to be replaced. I feel like a service department at a dealer should know the difference and not recommend a $1750 repair that has nothing to do with the issue I brought it in for. Save your money and take your Acura somewhere else to have any issues diagnosed.

Dealer was happy and helpful when buying a certified used TLX. When issues arise with a bad battery, completely different service. Service manager laughed in my girlfriend’s face when trying to get it fixed as it was under warranty and told her there’s nothing they can do without paying for it. Had a complementary oil change we had to fight for and literally read the advisors the paper that said 1 free complementary oil change. Today the transmission has progressively gotten more and more jerky to a point of being unsafe as it pushes the car forward when downshifting at stops/ lights. Was told a software update for the TCM would be the fix and would be free. Get there and they want money, while being condescending and irate for no reason.

I will say that my experience was a great. We had a sales name Daniel and he was awesome. We bought a Certified MDX. We have had this car for maybe 3 months. Recently, I had to get my tires checked and come to find out that it had three brand new Michelin Tires and one older tire that was not new. The three new ones were a touring tire and the old one was a Sports tire. I was under the impression when you purchased certified they car is put in it original state. I called the dealership and spoke to a salesman and asked why would they put 3 brand new tires on a certified vehicle and leave one old one? The salesman said they only replace the tires that can't be certified. So, I asked again why would they just place 3 new tires on a certified vehicle with only 13,000 miles. He responded 'Like I Said' we only replace tires that are not able to be certified and apparently it was 3. The salesman was very rude so I disconnected the call. So, I have a nice vehicle with 3 new tires and one that is old and will need to be replaced in about 2 months. I feel like all 4 should of been new and not 3 out of the 4.

They require you to buy a LoJack. Seriously, at a luxury dealership, so you can be tracked. This is a big slap in the face for anyone with cash or outside financing. Am I the only one? When I tried to get it removed from the vehicle, I was told they had to make their money somewhere, and the margins were getting worse. What an awful precedence.

Bait and switch. I asked specifically for an out the door price after providing very specific specs on an suv. After receiving the written quote I drove across town and was told by the general sales manager those were our numbers not the manufacturer’s numbers. The new quote was several thousand dollars more. I was now being quoted for 7500 miles but had they had agreed to 11,500. I offered $5500 down and now they wanted $5980 down. They refused to honor their salesman’s original quote. Be careful dealing with Acura of Tempe. My original deal was in writing but they still refused to honor it. Purchased a Lincoln the next day with an honest dealership.
