Buyers Beware ! CE Distribution is selling faulty Potentiometers and will not accept responsibility. The Carbon film does not cover the entire insulator therefore you do not have any control with the potentiometers in the first or last 20% of the rotation. The photo speaks for itself in that the carbon simply isn't there. I contacted CE Distribution and made every effort possible only to get a lame reply from one of their higher ups. This is the potentiometer information: R-VC250KA-SP 3.25 58.50 Potentiometer - CTS, Audio, Knurled Shaft, 3/8" Bushing, Resistance: 250k Ohm. I replaced these potentiometers with Fender Factory Parts Model #: 0990830000 and discovered an immense difference in sound and output results Here's what CE Distribution replied: "I spoke with management and it seems that this is not a factory fault, but the nature of the potentiometers. These CTS potentiometers won't change resistance between 0 and 2, this is how they were designed to be.

When your customers buy spare tubes and keep them new in box until needed.....then go to use them and they are defective.....replace them! What good is a warranty that doesn't cover spare tubes that aren't used until needed. Warranty should start when they are installed not when they are purchased! I can tell you that when this happened with the TubeDepot they immediately sent me a prepaid, return shipping label and gave me a refund. I guess that's where I'll be buying all my tubes now.

I have been buying parts from this company for over 10 years and it's time to brag on them. They are the best people to order amplifier and guitar parts from. The guys who answer the sales lines know their stuff and are helpful in many ways. Shopping on their website is easy and loaded with parts and products. What really blows me away is when Peavey, Fender, Ampeg and others send you to C E to get their out of stock parts. I appreciate C E Distributions hard work and effort they give those of us in the pro audio repair industry. Many thanks guys..you make my job easier.

Got a bad TAD 6L6 tube which had a pretty sever rattle right out of the box. This was not a normal tube microphonic. Totally unusable. They would not make good on it - unfortunately a $25 tube is more than their customer good will is worth. I'll stick with the Canadians.

Need tubes for a guitar amp here in the (Phoenix) Valley? They are hard to find at "regular" stores, but I had no trouble getting what I needed from this place. It is not a store, where you go in like Target or Guitar Center, and shop. You have to call in an order, check to see if they have it in stock, and there's a will call (office) where you go in to get your parts and pay. So, it's a little different in that respect. I just needed 1 JJ long plate tube for my EVH LBX 15 watt amp, and they had it, picked it up the next day. Don't know if they can fulfill an order within hours in case of meregency, so I would call to find out if that's the case. Service was prompt and friendly, sent me an email with order number and info before I went to pick up, price was very resonable. Will use them again for sure.

Very fast service, good website, and great selection. I found all the capacitors I needed to repair a 70 year old radio (I did have to get creative with one specialty capacitor). Shipping was a bit high, but I'm satisfied.
