I just dropped off bags of fabric, flowers and other craft items and they were so kind and telling me stories of how grateful the teachers and charity workers are made it so much more worth it than just taking it to goodwill.

This place is the bomb for artists and teachers. Nonprofits and teachers can expect free, FREE supplies. Artists can pick out supplies on a donation basis. I don't think I'll ever buy oil paint retail again, as long as ARC carries it. Cool finds, but like a thriftstore, you gotta hunt. Only downside is they're limited hours.

Needs more access to donation possibilities, because it's difficult to get venmo and PayPal, etc.

This location is supplied by donations of multiple kinds of crafters. There is no set fee for items, only that request of a donation be made. Items are categorized into different areas (paper crafts, clothes patterns, cross stitch, etc) & you will need to search for things you are interested in. You will need to be able to spend time here to search. I have found a lot of good stuff here & will return.

Wow this place has helped our craft group at church amazingly!! Our ladies make lap blankets for nursing homes and adult day care centers as well as Valley View food center. Hats and scarves for the homeless, and blankets booties and hats for the Choices pregnancy center. The art center has yarn and fabric at no cost to non profit organizations. Thank you to all who volunteer!!!! And to all who donate!! And thank you for setting up such a great center!!!!!

Great place for teachers and artists! I have more than once filled my car to capacity with materials, paid nothing for it, and left with them thanking me on the way out.

I am a crafter/seamstress. I LOVE having a place to donate my left-overs and no longer needed supplies to a resource center who can make these supplies available to a teacher at no cost or a fellow crafter for very little. I have also found unique supplies that were "just what I was looking for" or items that "inspired me" to create. You have to be able to search through items to find your treasure... or I was very impressed that I could be pointed to the right location. LOVE and support Art Resource Center.

This place is INCREDIBLE. What they do and offer is unique and needed for many locals. I just became an art teacher this year and when reaching out to them online, they were quick to respond. When I arrived, they walked me through to find all that I would need to get started for such a solid rate. I only wish they were closer (Phoenix) and open more days! But understand it's owned by a small, caring staff that doesn't currently have that capacity. Will definitely be back!
