I would compare this “hotel” to a 2 star motel. Very run down and filthy. As soon as I entered the room the smell was awful and strong. We think it was coming from the very outdated refrigerator. It smelt as if there was something either dead in there or food had been rotting somewhere. The bathroom gross as well.I shared all of this with Melinda Bolden the assistant manager. She was of no help and didn’t offer any other solution than to have a housekeeper clean the room. We had paid for 4 nights already and she would not refund money. The icing on the cake was the housekeeper going into the room and saying she did not smell anything at all but would clean the room the following day. I am not sure if she was just used to the smell or lying. I took a few pictures of the kitchen to show another front desk lady what I was talking about and she pretended not to see what I saw as if I was crazy. When I zoomed into the grease and dirty kitchen counter she stated that it was cleaning streaks. Ha!They expected us to sleep in in filth with the smell of something rotten in that room until the next day with no assurance that it would be better. That was the best Melinda could offer. So we had to take a loss of over $500 plus not to mention more money for another real hotel and time it took to find one.I say all of this to say if you don’t mind dealing with unprofessional nasty front desk staff and don’t mind staying in filth then this is the place to be. Pictures below, I should have showed the bathroom.

Cockroaches. Minimal water pressure in shower. Stained carpets. But the people who work there are awesome.Kitchen has everything but an oven and there is no coffee maker just a thing that boils water for instant coffee.Fridge has icemaker which is nice to have.

Intel employees from out of state stay at this hotel, and wake up at 4am every day. Bikers took over the parking lot, drinking alcohol, with loud music and bikes without letting us get any rest. When we tried to enter the parking lot after work they were too aggressive and wouldn't let us in. We talked to the manager about how aggressive they were, and to ask about were to park.. and she didn't do anything about it. "They're staying till Sunday, and can't predict till what time they will be playing loud music" She said. We will be informing all Intel staff about this incident, so none of our employees stay here long term.Safety: Not safe with all these aggressive bikers.Walkability: The worst

Rough. I get this is a Pet friendly hotel but you shouldn’t be able to smell it the moment you walk in. This place is beat up. Ripped carpet and everything seemed sticky. The room didn’t feel clean. We were in town for a wedding and lots of guests stayed at this hotel. Many of us felt the same about the condition of the hotel. Gave motel vibes and just was overall disappointing. The staff were excellent, however. And they tried their best to accommodate.Rooms: Not great. Kinda gross.Walkability: There really isn’t anything within walking distance. There’s a tough gas station nearby that’s just as filthy as the hotel.Food & drinks: Only saw a small fridge that had pop and a Gatorade. No bottle water while we were there.

Would NOT stay here again. We ended up leaving before the second night because we were concerned about safety. Our room was on the bottom floor, which faces the parking lot/pool. You can easily walk up to our windows from the street. The windows DID NOT HAVE LOCKS meaning you could easily open them from the outside, and they fully opened. Meaning a full grown person could easily walk in and out of our hotel room via the window.Apart from the room being dirty- towels actively dirty (not just stained but recently used), the couch having … crusty spots all over it… the overwhelming smell of mildew, the chewed gum in the air vent… the main issue was the safety concern that you could open the windows from the street! Hotel did not help to solve this problem. My husband even asked the front desk for just a stick to put in the window or something, but no help was offered. Would not recommend this place to anyone as this is a clear safety issue and was not taken seriously. Staff untrained to deal with problems - directed us to speak with management who was never onsite. Hotel was sold out so could not be relocated to another room, which is understandable, however at minimum they should be able to provide a block of wood or something to secure their own broken windows. It was a hassle to even get a refund just for the second night - spent hours on the phone between corporate Sonesta, hotel management, and Chase.Rooms: Dirty (food left in pantry, crumbs on tables and floors, towels had makeup on them, spills on couch (not just stains, actual crust)). Rooms are old (grease stained, broken drawers in kitchen, etc.)0 for safety. We were on the first floor, facing the street. Both our bedroom and living room window did not have working locks. You were able to open the window freely from the outside.Noteworthy details: Staff was nice but not equipped to deal with issues. Management tried to skirt around the safety issue.

Booked this hotel for it's relative location to Sloan Field. We cut our stay short due to our dissatisfied with the room.Rooms: Relatively clean, but disappointed because bathroom door wouldn't lock due to mechanism was stuck, TV remote stop working so we couldn't turn off the TV at bedtime, kitchen area was clean, but looked old. Overall the hotel was decent, but wasn't what we expected.

Guests Beware.Booked a room for a month and was making payments weekly on it. January 17 made a payment of $761.08 . Lady in the office said my card declined. Check my bank balance and the money had been withdrawn. Call the bank and have them explain to her that they withdrew the money. She said she sees the payment went through, gives us the keys. The following Wednesday of the 24th we are told they still did not have the payment from the 17th. I spoke to the manager. She said they didn't have the money, it was an issue with my bank. Call three way with the bank. The manager is extremely rude to the representative on the phone, cutting her off, talking over her. The representative made it clear that the payment on the 17th was cleared and processed. The manager stills says the money was not received so she said she will "close out the portfolio" and that the $761.08 would be deposited back to my account and I could remake that payment when the money was reimbursed. The money was never reimbursed!!!! And we were locked out and harassed by staff multiple times telling us to pay the overdue balance.. Manager says its my banks fault again. Call the bank. The representative from the bank says there is no such thing as the money being in limbo, no money has been processed back to my card. The manager absolutely refused to help resolve the situation. Was rude. Unprofessional. And today, even though the room was paid up until Wednesday, we were asked to leave because she didn't like how I cussed at her over the phone after being threatened to pay money I DO NOT OWE and that HAS NOT BEEN RETURNED to my bank account. She lied and said I threatened her after I said I would call the cops. I do hope the calls are recorded on their end. Horrible management. Incompetent staff.

Rooms were equal to super 8, dispenser in shower didn't work properly. I have stayed at budget hotels before this is nothing special. For the price I would recommend staying at a different location. Many hotels for the price include parking for free, breakfast, coffee in the room. This one does not provide any of those things. Note the night clerk did a great job.

I really liked the room at Sonesta. While it is a stretch to call it a suite, it had a full-sized refrigerator, a burner for cooking, and a nice microwave oven. It also had a soft lounge chair, which many rooms nowadays seem to lack. The was ample desk/table space and the TV and TV remote worked. The staff was friendly as well. The one drawback IMHO was that checkout time is 11 am and they charge you 40 bucks - at least in my case - if you overstay. One more thing. They charge $5/day for parking. Although I understand Sonesta needs to be profitable, and perhaps this is the future of this class of motels, this a la Carter pricing model is reminiscent of the airlines nowadays, and is something nobody - myself included - seems to like.
