Two young ladies in cashier was either lazy or just plain off their head! I always cash check with two different color inks in it .Its never. An issue . But yesterday they. Refuse to cash it according to them It need to just one color ink. That o need to tell them to write a new check .Seriously. And why is it if I deposit in on line. They accepted what’s the difference . ????

06/26/2024 - My father came to cash a Check here today and provided ID and all the necessary documents.
The Supervisor took the check and ID and disappeared to the back for nearly 10 minutes. When he came back he said there was a "discrepancy with the signature" and therefore he couldn't cash the check.
If ID is provided and it matches the person giving it to you and the name on the check there is no reason the check cannot be cashed.
When pressed to explain exactly why it could not be cashed, the supervisor kept repeating himself and going in circles before he disappeared for another five minutes with the check again after being asked to give it back needlessly wasting more time.
Surprise, surprise when taken to a different branch, the staff there were able to cash it with no problems quickly, in and out.
We are African American and I feel strongly as though this experience was a case of profiling on the Supervisor's end. He needs training not just for the way he speaks to and treats clients but also in professionalism and his job in general.
Deeply disappointed to have this experience with a company like Chase. You really need to choose your leaders wisely because they represent the face of your company.
We've been loyal customers with Chase for over 20 years and have never had an experience like this.

Never trust a bank that won't disclose it's own local phone number. It means they want to reduce the ability of citizens to reach out to them. That does not breed trust - it breeds the opposite. Speak with your money, and leave. That's what they listen to: money.

Went to make a deposit from work. They would not take the coins because they were not wrapped. Are you serious!? Because they weren't wrapped??! There wasn't enough to wrap! It was like 9.35 in change. Quarters, dimes nickels and pennies.. He asked me to go to a machine that changes coins.. Come on!

An appointment is required to open an account, and they were unapologetic about it. I have never needed an appointment to give a bank my business.

Very cheap service. The guy name is natay henry. I had an appointment with him to open a new bank account. First in mail it was mentioned to go with 2 ids. I went with my passport and student id. Later after coming there he said to get i20. I came back within 10 mins. Then he said he can not help now nd told to come back on another day. How it feels when you have to come twice to a branch just to open an account in this hot summer. And this happens to you. Dont come here.

Terrible company and terrible customer service. Don't use chase unless you want to incur needless fees and overdrafts because of those fees.

I have been using this Chase as my primary location for the year I've been in Tempe. I've only ran into an issue once with their arm not working. I had to go in recently because my debit card wasn't working and I was very happy with the customer service I got while I was there.
