please do not work here especially if you work remote and get trainers like Tracie Washington and Andrew chapman they are the worst micro managers you will ever meet they will act like dictators, and control you like you are a 6 year old. they monitor n track your every move and even will give a lecture if u need to use the bathroom. they demand perfection and full obedience while paying 2 dollars above minimum wage no wonder they are always hiring. please if you have self respect for yourself please look elsewhere for a job. No matter how hard you try to help customers and do your best they will find fault in you with write ups and firings.

Absolutely the worst cell service I’ve ever had. Switched from Verizon to save a few bucks. BIG MISTAKE! Service sucks and customer service is almost impossible to reach. Will switch back to Verizon immediately!! Stay away from this cell service.

I missed one day because my mom had passed away, the next day I decided to show up at work thinking they would understand and maybe offer me some time off. But instead I was taken to the back to get told I was going to be let go because I missed and that I will have the chance to reapply after six months. The company doesn’t care for you at all, they are extremely strict on attendance and for what?

Worked for the company for three plus years and didn't realize how terrible the work experience was until I found a new job. If you work well under micro management and policies that only benefit the company itself, consumer cellular is the best fit. They will treat you as if there is opportunity for growth in a career but no real gain is received. You will remain entry level regardless of your title.

This is not a customer/retail store this is a corporate/employee location that requires badges to enter. Great work environment, good benefits, drinks and snacks that are delivered daily are available for purchase inside break room way beyond the typical vending machine selections most places have. Arcade room, multiple meeting rooms, mothers room, and other really neat features that i have not seen with other employers.

Consumer Cellular has become a waste of time! They are, after two years plus, switching all their towers that are 3G to 5G.. Sounds good? No Way!! The phones you have purchased from them that only receive 3G, will become NON-FUNCTIONING. We. Should Have Notified You! But, ALAS, THEY DID NOT!! WHOOPEE! Thank You for using CONSUMER CELLULAR!By the way, we don't want to loose you. Don't let the door hit your backside as you leave.3-18-23 Just spoke to ANOTHER SUPERVISOR and was told by this one, What I was told on the 15th was not true. What a bunch of incompetent supervisors.If you are considering signing up for CONSUMER CELLULAR, RUN, DO NOT WALK, to XFINITY and forget that Consumer Cellular, 94% customer satisfaction balogna, it is reversed to 94 % DISsatisfaction!!!

I promise, customers, the reason your hold time is so high is because the turnover rate for employees is a nightmare, agents are trying very hard to get through calls as fast as possible.Consumer Cellular does not value hard work, integrity, or compassion -- metrics or nothing. While, unfortunately, the desired numbers don't yield a good experience for customers.I wish I could express just how dreadful working for this company is. Medical accomodations are next to impossible to get, no matter how many times you put in a request. You could be told one thing by your direct SUP and another by the SR SUP, they do not communicate properly. You're spoonfed this "We're a family" sort of vibe during 4 weeks of training, which is subpar in length when compared to major cellular companies & call centers. Training will feel like it's too much too fast, the time was already decreased to push agents out faster since the turnover is getting worse.If you make it through training, end up at PHX1, and have Judy as a SR SUP, just quit while you're ahead or shift swap away from her before she finds a reason to have you out the door. She's possibly the worst management I have ever seen in my life, inappropriate doesn't begin to cover what this woman said to me and my coworkers.
