Upon arrival, there were two representatives at the desk. Neither of the ladies greeted me as I approached the desk. (9:30 am on Sat 10/26/24) Once at the desk, I had to say "Hello" in order to be acknowledged.
When I asked for directions on an event. I was rudely told to " follow the signs." She pointed to a waist length (usually it would be eye level to guide visitors) sign in the lobby rather than express the name of the meeting room and/or where to find it.
I would not recommend this establishment.
Although I did not rent a room, the housekeeping staff appeared to be productive. One young man was concerned I wouldn't find it and walked me to the conference center door. I appreciate his time.
Food and drinks: Food was provided for the conference I attended. The food served was fair. Some items under cooked some items were over cooked.

I have been in this location on October 6th. My card got decline with amount of dollar 203 but my credit card got charged with the same amount the front desk girl told me that I’m gonna get back my amount within 24 or 48 hours or it will take at least seven days if I won’t get but this is my 11th day I didn’t get my money back, still they hold my money

This hotel was not what I expected based on the photos. It is EXTREMELY outdated / dirty and the service is very poor. Don't expect much when traveling here.

Front desk, restaurant and bar staff were excellent. The patio was nice and relaxing. I would definitely stay here again.

Poor Communication and customer service. I called twice to request a late check-in time. First to inform the hotel our flight was coming in at 1 am. Then I called again to inform the hotel our flight was delayed by 3 hours. The persons whom I spoke to on the phone assured me they had put a note in the system to notify the front desk person that we would be arriving late. When we arrived the hotel had allowed our booking to expire and the person at the desk said there was no record of my phone call. They did not have a room for me and my family and their only solution was to charge us for a new booking. They refused to reimburse us for their miscommunication and for what they put us through. Unacceptable.

The guy named Kody at the desk was awesome, I hope this location keeps him! The decor in the lobby was beautiful and inviting. The outdoor areas were not only beautiful, but quiet and peaceful. We found lots of places to eat nearby. Oh, and the chocolate chip, walnut cookies tasted like Mrs. Fields!

We found doubletree online taking our daughter to college. The property is old, however, so well cared for. Our room is spacious, but most of all clean and ice cold AC. Communication started with Sergio who set up our reservations via phone.
Sergio was top-notch when it comes to mannerism and professionalism. Upon arrival, we had my 94 mother with us after a long drive they found a room for us to check in earlier and accommodated our request.
Sara, the Manager and Rosie were two others that were instrumental and making our short trip. Absolutely amazing.
Checking in with us making sure we were good and if we needed anything. The pricing for this hotel coupled with free parking is worth it and we will return for sure
For such a large hotel, it felt down to earth meaning people were genuinely doing their job, but also did it with respect enthusiasm. If I could give more stars I would , I definitely would highly recommend if you’re traveling in or near Tempe Arizona.

We checked in early because I was sun sick and needed to rest. The room was okay, not super clean but the sheets, mattress and pillow were fine so I let it go. I hear pounding on my door and brushed it off as someone trying the wrong door. Then we got more pounding at 1am along with someone opening the door (they clearly had a key) thankfully we locked the extra lock. This made us completely uneasy as we’re in a city we know very little about. We tell the front desk as we’re leaving like hey this happened. We got a I’ll have engineering look into this and call you guys, sorry. Well it’s been two days no calls. We’ve driven all around Arizona. Not really sure what they’d do but to clearly not genuinely care is off putting for a Hilton. Leaving this one off the list should we return to Tempe.
Noteworthy details: Subpar room. It was fine for sleep until we got woken up by someone unlocking our door.

Everything was beyond great. We’ve been welcomed with hot cookies and the reception checked on us via text message after a while. I really love this, a great practice! She helped us on troubleshooting our WiFi issue immediately without a need to talk on the phone. The hotel is quite new and well designed. We love the pool and the outdoor jacuzzi. The breakfast also was great. The staff were amazing. The location of the hotel is also great. It is in a very quiet area. Nothing to do around by walking distance but you shouldn’t expect this in anywhere in the southeast anyways, you need a car.
The only negative experience we’ve had is online pre-check in. The way it was communicated seemed like we had to do it and it was not an easy task as I probably had something wrong with my credentials. Anyways after spending an hour, we gave up and moved on with traditional check in which worked perfectly fine.

Food and drinks: It would be nice if there was complimentary breakfast in the mornings.
