No greets or smiles met with passive aggressive staff.
The store could’ve been stocked a lot more. there was empty shelving around the store.
Mainly empty around the hello kitty section and snacks section, kids toys, house products.
There was also open candy wrappers, dry soda or juice spills where people walk on it, open missing merchandise on clearance items listed $1 or less.
Not to mention we could not shop without eyes glaring at us from behind corners and what I think was a manager whispering to another employee to so called “watch us because we’re suspicious”
As me and my husband were approaching the self checkout a young lady interrupted us taking the basket out of my husbands hands and insisted on scanning our things for us, which I’ve never seen before but anyways very awkward and uncomfortable idk if she thought maybe we were gonna steal at the self checkout but we felt rushed to leave.
never again will we waste our money at this location ;)

This store is NEVER open on time. The opening time says 930 am on the door but don't bother coming here before 11 o clock.

I actually really liked the store when it first opened but lately I noticed whenever I go in I’m followed around and management seems to be thinking I’m stealing. I usually walk to the store and will often bring my own shopping bags and a hat so when I enter the store I’m followed around by a chubby man with glasses. I often overheard him get on his device in his ear to notify someone to watch the areas I was shopping in, usually the incense isle. Then when I go to checkout now they let all customers ring up their own stuff by self checkout but always make me give them my basket to checkout for me which just means they scan it at self checkout then tell me to pay. Then after checking me out they leave back to the back of store to continue doing whatever they were doing before I entered. I don’t like the feeling of being followed around or watched for five dollar items, sadly I think I will not be going back unless things change. Just beware, if you go in and have a darker shade they will be watching you like a hawk I never notice this treatment with lighter complected individuals but do notice if someone who looks darker or even homeless goes in they will pull the same behavior.

My kids absolutely love five below! I love that I can give them a $20 allowance or reward for something and they can still get a lot of use out of it here, trendy and a decent quality stuff that is much better than Dollar tree or family dollar. It is truly amazing the stuff you can get for $5 at this place! Also they have a pretty awesome selection of classic a varieties that are hard to find!

Terrible customer service.
I’ve never had an issue with exchanging without a receipt. It’s clearly a product only they sell it was one item not like I was asking to return 75 things.
Terrible I won’t be back I’ll go the tempe market place where the customer service is great

Posting this review because i went shopping today dec 8th around 2ish o clock all i seen was this lady run out the store like she was scared for her life and the manager i assume big white man with glasses chubby run after her down the store screaming at her and ran after her in the parking lot this is so sad not sure if she was stealing or what could’ve happened but if she was it crazy how the employee ran after her she looked frightened but the employee shoulda thought safety first what if she was dangerous or had a weapon and pull it out in front of the store i can’t believe how ghetto the store was and five below lost our business forever the employees clearly didn’t care about mine or my family life. Every retail job I’ve ever had no. Employee was ever allowed to chase especially when that could jeopardize safety of others very unprofessional that man deserves to lose his job because my child’s or my life could’ve been lost i will reach out to corporate

I already love 5 below but I really wanted to leave a review for the employees. I have a new baby, and I had my hands pretty full with my stuff, the car seat, and breastfeeding my baby. 2 employees (1 male and 1 female) came up to me and offered to help with my stuff (separate times) I said no to both, but still really really appreciated that they cared, and wanted to help. Such great customer service. Will definitely be back.
