Zero star review. This place did the complete opposite of what my wife asked them to do. The stylist Joann, wouldn't do what my wife wanted until another stylist came over and told her to just do what my wife asked. My wife has been growing her hair out for a long time so she didn't want ANY length cut off, she just wanted some layers starting at her shoulders. Yet they cut off 4 inches and started the layers at her chest level. Even with her coaching the stylist the whole time on how to do her job, they still managed to not listen. This isn't target where you can just return the item you don't like, she's now stuck with hair she absolutely hates until it grows back. I've never experienced such incompetence for a simple hair cut.

Everyone here are pleasant and respectful. Alyssa always listens carefully to my style descriptions. Have a lot of hair but she always comes up with a cut that really works. Get compliments too.

Dad and I love Lori's work! She has a lot of repeat customers and it must be because she takes the time to do quality work every single time! When she's not at her normal salon, I call around the valley and find where she's working, and dad and I end up over there! She's really an asset and if you want an excellent hairdresser, ask for Lori!

I had a fantastic experience at Great Hair Clips Salon The salon is clean, welcoming, and very well run. I was lucky to have Rihana as my hairstylist, and she was absolutely incredible.

I got my hair cut today around 440 pm at the Guadalupe and McClintock location. I quite enjoyed the haircut. The conversation was nice to have after a long day of work. Rihanna did a fantastic job. Not often do you go to a stylist and feel well taken care of. I was happy with the pace and care provided for the haircut. Thank you again. I look forward to coming back.

I had an absolutely horrible experience at this location today. The man who cut my hair, Kevin, butchered it to the point that it is visibly choppy and uneven. My mom said one thing to me in our native language, and he immediately asked me what she was saying. At one point, she got up from the waiting area to check how my haircut was going, and he told me that she should not check in, that she should sit down, and that she should mind her own business since I am an adult. It was very uncomfortable.
When I got up, my mom pointed out that there were still multiple strands of long hair he had missed. He claimed he couldn’t see them, and my mom had to physically point them out. When she did, he said the reason she noticed them was because she was shorter than him??

Just want to say my haircut wasn’t terrible. Although I must say for coming here as long as I have I am disappointed enough to leave a review. If you get the same haircut enough times, you know how it is supposed to be cut. Usually when you’re cleaning up the sides of a males hair, you get the top wet or at least make an effort to expose the part, to my dismay earlier today, she just went in with dry hat hair from work, a 2 all around is not difficult, yet it’s uneven and she took parts from the top of my hair off with carelessness. On to the top of my head, usually the stylist is uniform in their cut and there is a progression across the head, she was just sporadic, no plan, just going for it. I had her take extra off in just an attempt to even it. Last, potentially the most egregious, I asked for a ‘light’ hard part in my hair. First of all, she started at the back of my head and moved forward and second she didn’t brace herself up or anything. She just took swipes at my head, leaving it significantly wobbly and far from even or clean looking. Thankfully it will grow back in soon but if I had an important event coming up I would definitely be embarrassed. I wish I got her name but I knew immediately she was new, only got her license 10/24. But man, I feel like any guy should be concerned. I’m not even that dissatisfied with the haircut, but really disappointed with who is being hired. She felt impatient and I did not feel cared for in the slightest as a customer. This is a first, heck, I’m leaving a review. I will be back, there are good stylists at this location, but I will not be sitting in her chair again. Just be wary yall.

My stylist, Marnie, was annoyed to be working and completely ignored what I asked her to do. She argued with me when I told her how I wanted my hair cut and decided to just buzz it all. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with this location. Be very mindful of when you schedule your haircut to get the best service from your stylist at this location. Too close to 4pm and the stylist is worn out and frustrated. Too close to a holiday and the stylist is mad they're even there. Stylist also covered me in hair by not putting the cover on and not telling me.
Do better.
