This was one of the most difficult hotel stays that I’ve ever had and it was for only one night!! Upon initial arrival which was after midnight, it took at least 25-30 minutes for a shuttle to arrive to pick me up to take me to the hotel. Then at 5:30 AM the smoke detector battery was low and started buzzing. Then to top things off, I had briefly left the hotel to go pick up a rental and came back, only unable to enter into my room because of the locking mechanism malfunctioning. They were able to get a hanger to open the door. I got back in my room and needed to use the bathroom, and to gather the rest of my things up. While doing so, one of the cleaning ladies decided to come in prior to me being fully checked out of the hotel to start cleaning while I was using the restroom!! The breakfast itself was decent, but for my one night stay, I only give this location 1 out of 5 stars!!

Initially, I was satisfied with my stay. However, I have since learned they charged me a $85 pet fee which I was not made aware of. I let the front desk attendant know I had a pet, they had me fill out a form but it didn’t have pet fee on it on it. I am use to paying a $25 pet fee but $85 is excessive in my mind. I am writing to inform public about this as Pet fees are usually buried in fine print.

Really good location for airport, Scottsdale, University. Rooms need more electric charging outlets by bed. Come on guys this is 2024. Put a device in each room that will sort 4 USB and 110 chargers. Breakfast fine, rooms clean, beds good.

I booked the hotel for a one night stay as I was flying to New York for 10 days. The room included the stay and parking for 10 days. It was going to be almost $400.00. I called early the morning of my arrival and told them that I had to cancel because I was admitted to the hospital and wasn't able to go on my trip. First of all they were very rude on the phone and said too bad that they were charging me for the room and 10 days of parking. I told them that I understood the room charge with the short notice. What I could not understand was the 10 day parking charge as I would not have my vehicle there. The woman said that was the hotels policy and that was to bad. What a ripoff!! I will never stay at any Hampton Inn again!!!

We stayed at this hotel due to flight delay. Given the reviews- it was a good hotel.Pros: free shuttle to and from airport, good breakfast selection and coffee, friendly front desk, clean hotel, shuttle services from hotel to airport is prompt which is what you want in order to be on time!!!Cons: shuttle from airport was FOREVER- we waited over 30 minutes and had to call 4times for a pick-up… so their shuttle communication was awful, their pillows seem fluffy but was so flat- my neck is suffering, their sliding door to the bathroom and closet was so loud and pretty much slammed each way each time (only 1 sliding door- it either closed the closet or closed the bathroom)…Rooms: Plenty of rooms- adequateFood & drinks: We ordered room service (given we had a voucher)- typical timing of 45-60 minutes. Chicken wings had no flavor, cheesecake was typical, fries were okay, and pizza was okay. Nothing special.

The bathroom needed an update but bedroom looked good. The room was clean and quiet. The room also included breakfast and free parking. The property is conveniently located about 10 minutes from the PHX car rental center.

I travel to the Phoenix area roughly a few days each month, and this location is great. The staff and rooms are great. I have the option for the Scottsdale location but always choose this one.

My husband and I stayed at Hampton Inn for our early flight the next morning. The first room we were assigned had a weed smell, but Karen took great care of us and reassigned our room. We are so thankful for her great service and understanding.

Team was busy due to flight cancellations. Patrick watched his colleague check in all of the people who were already packed in the shuttle. He was not helpful at all. He just offered a tooth brush and toothpaste.

Stayed here for just one night but it was great. Pool was SUPER warm, and hot tub was just right. Very clean, simple check in, great breakfast options...def a great experience.

Place was good but not great. Not a fan of the communal shower product system, and in my room in front of the bed there is a weak spot on the floor than gave way anytime you accidentally stepped there. Room was large, clean and in good condition overall. The staff was fantastic.

The hotel was nice and clean. Our stay was brief but comfortable.Room was clean and well stocked.The lady who checked us in was friendly and courteous.One suggestion would be that the breakfast should be labelled atleast for people with dietary preferences or requiring allergens information. Also having some vegetarian options in breakfast would be welcome. There were none.Overall I give 4.5/5
