Was told the wait would be 35 minutes. After an hour we were still 5th in line and told we should expect another hour wait.Normally I love hot n juicy. I'll Never go to this location again.

I came here during the Art festival in March 2024 as it was pretty close to my hotel. We waited a few minutes so the staff could get a table ready for us and then another 5-10 before the waitress came to take our drink order. I know they were busy and maybe under staffed, so I am not mad at the wait. My wife ordered a half dozen of the oysters but I am not a fan. She said they were both fresh and flavorful. Both my wife and I ordered individual meals and both had the garlic, butter and baby spice level. There were times it was still hot but good. I prefer to not peel my own shrimp but the experience is still nice. I added corn, potatoes and sausage in mine to make things more filling. We also got some hawaiian rolls since my wife is diabetic and needs some carbs with dinner. The food was fresh and full of flavor and not just the added flavor. We both had a great experience and I would recommend people come check them out. They are a little pricey but that will be different for everyone. If seafood is your thing, check them out and if not, then you might want to find a different spot. The area they are located in is full of various restaurants, bars and places to get quick bites. They are also very close to ASU Tempe.

The flavor is there but it’s pretty early in the season so the mud bugs are still small. Which I knew that part already. The part I is couldn’t believe was what I discovered at the bottom of the bag! This is why I’m posting this review, they poured 5-6 ounces of claws!! Just claws, to weight it down! No joke! I ordered two different flavors of 2 lbs. of each. (Spent way too much $ here!) And they did it to both bags of crawfish That’s really sad, first you charge $15./lb. Then you don’t even give me a whole lb. of crawfish. That doesn’t say “we appreciate your patronage!” That says, “we just want your money!” I understand when other places put some little ones in there with the big ones. I get that, but these were ALL SMALL! Then 5-6 ounces of JUST CLAWS! Like, did you think we weren’t going to notice!? I’ve had crawfish all over the U.S. and I’ve never seen this before. That’s bad business right there. Won’t be returning to HNJ! They got 2 stars for the flavor ONLY & shrimp poboy!P.S. Don’t fall for the fried brownies! It has a very interesting aftertaste. The batters good but I’m not sure if that’s a brownie in there?!Even our kids didn’t like them, which says A LOT!

I can understand a waiter being busy but this place is small and our server not once came to check up on us but was able to check on others and our food was not all there. I asked for lemons, my missing food and nothing was given to me until I was done with my food. She did not ask if we wanted refills at all or if everything was ok. Severs name is Sam

I Love Hot N Juicy. I craved it all through my pregnancy and now I only order out. It’s disappointing that you guys are very scarce with the sauce. At first I thought it was a fluke but now as a long time customer I know you guys changed the amount of sauce you give and no longer offer to buy extra sauce online.

Worst seafood boil I’ve ever had. The spice level was not spicy at all and the seafood had barely any seasoning. It was like I was eating boiled shrimp with nothing on it. The service was terrible. The server ignored us and we had to get another server to get us more seasoning which took about 20 minutes to get.

All I can say is that I have never tasted so much wet garlic powder or raw garlic in my life. Very skunky please fry or toast the garlic and then won't be so offensive. It's a courtesy all chefs must be aware of. I'm not sure I like my food cooked in a plastic bag. I must have washed my hands 5 times. I also had to brush my teeth 3 times. Now I know why you get gloves, no way too awkward. Just not something I like. At this price point we would expect cooked garlic. Thank you for trying.

I applied for a job here. I got so much of a run around. I don't feel like the staff had good communication with each other. I went through all this trouble of putting application in with this establishment and left a resume. I had been calling to follow up day after day. For the past two weeks. I find out today that the manager wasnt there. However, they hired other people. That doesn't make sense to me. Employers should be more direct on what they're looking for. I have a family to feed. That's my motivation. I have the drive and dedication to help others but I don't like my valuable time wasted. I left my phone number and ect literally.Way too much run around for a local job. This is overall my first impression.Lesson learned. Not everyone is a college student. When people are looking for work. Every candidate should be treated with dignity and respect. Not overlooked and put on the back burner.

Had a birthday dinner back in August because I was craving this place really badly to only find out that it was the worst dining experience ever. 1. They only provided one waitress with a large party 2. The messed up our orders, then tried to charge us for something we didn't even want 3. The waitress messed up our bill by not tracking who paid for their food on the combined bill (they couldn't split checks) and you'd think they would mark off each of the items that each person paid for but the waitress was dumb as hell. 4. After we tried calling the restaurant, we told them about our concern and tried to file a complaint about them overcharging $270 of food that was already paid for separately, even though they never kept track of payments made by each person. 5. They laughed on the phone and didn't they we would hear them on the other line when we explained that we were the large party that was just there. Extreme amount of unprofessional in by the two managers that don't have common sense to clearly run a business. Never offered any form of compensation for the one employee that messed up (to provide further details about our waitress she was a young, black girl with a pineapple poof styled ponytail)6. It gets worse here, the black girl who was our waitress, secretly tried giving her number to one of my friends who was a customer. How unprofessional can you they get. She thought we wouldn't catch her, well clearly like we said everyone who works there is slow asf.So in conclusion, we WILL NOT be coming back EVER. Do not come here if you want good quality service. The food was decent but my family and friends said some of their stuff was missing in their boil such as eggs, sausage or potatoes. I recommend going to the Glendale or Scottsdale location. Overall, the environment felt like they didn't want us there in the first place.

From the amazing service from our server, Madison , to the amazing food and atmosphere, Hot N Juicy never misses! This particular location has become a dining tradition anytime we are picking up friends and loved ones from the airport.
