Palmer Park is a nice, quiet park with lots of beautiful shade from mature trees. It is a small to medium-sized park with pretty much everything desired, including a playground with all new equipment and a cheerful, soft surface. Amenities include a baseball field, a very nice basketball court, multiple picnic areas with grills and tables, and many park benches. It is very clean and well-maintained. Dogs are welcome. There are no restrooms, and parking is on the street only. A noted downside is its location right next to the freeway.
