Pera is a private club and facility for employees and retirees, offering a beautiful and well-maintained property. The grounds overlook the Papago Buttes, Phoenix Zoo, and Botanical Garden. Recent years have seen huge improvements, including a beautiful new multi-purpose building and a tent with heating and AC for large groups. The kitchen now better supports events, and a converted building provides restroom facilities. The area is large for conferences or banquets. It is a fantastic, family-friendly park with a pool, tennis courts, beach volleyball, and a playground. The facility hosts events like Easter parties, Halloween haunted houses, and community fund-raisers. Security provides a safe feeling. Reviews note the food as average but the desserts as really good, with many expressing great memories of the place over many years.

Attended SRP'S annual Winter Festival where Santa Claus arrives in a helicopter and takes photos with the children. Always fun and well organized. My grandson loves it
