This has to be the worst pod market to ever exist, it suppose to close at 2, but at times some workers choose to close it before 1, you’ll see them through the glass and they won’t even look your way, they’ll act as if you weren’t knocking for more than half an hour, I took two pictures of the two workers that ignored me, another reason why this is a terrible pod market is because everything is overpriced, don’t go there!

I was accused of stealing and yelled at in front of the entire store over a mistake-I was having the absolute worst day of my life and my friend and i decided to go to the pod market to get some snacks to cheer me up. I have severe ADHD (i may possibly be on the spectrum) and often forget things or dissociate when i’m in larger public spaces with people around and since i was already having a terrible day my brain was so mentally checked out and when we got to the register to pay I forgot that I had two items (a single popcorn packet and a yogurt, about $3 in value btw) under my arm and my sweater happened to be draped over them. Since i was in autopilot i assumed i had paid for them along with two other items but when i went to leave i was stopped at the door and told that they needed to check my bag. I was really confused and handed all the items to my friend before going over to the counter to empty my bag which only had my wallet in it. One of the employees grabbed my sweater and the the two items i thought i paid for from my friend and proceeded to yell at me in front of everyone in the store, the employees and other students, that i was stealing. I was so confused about what was happening and when I realized what had happened I started crying because I hadn’t meant to do anything wrong but when i tried to explain what had happened and that it was because of my ADHD i was told to “not try and be smart” and I was threatened by the employee/manager that they would call the police. I was so confused and upset and I was having a breakdown in front of 20 people who all now thought i was stealing from a store which is something I would never intentionally do. I kept trying to explain myself but was met with more hostility from the employee and more threats of calling the police. My friend stepped in and said we would pay for the items to which i agreed to and paid for the $4 (3ish + tax) of goods. The employee walked me and my friend outside as I was still sobbing and trying to explain myself and eventually he let us go with a warning because we had ended up paying for the stuff. I left confused and humiliated from what I had just had to face. I understand that what I unintentionally did was wrong but the way the situation was handled was completely not right. Not only was I not given a chance to explain myself but my ADHD was dismissed as just an excuse and I was yelled at and completely humiliated in front of the entire store. I don’t think I can ever bring myself to go back to this place as that encounter has genuinely traumatized me and I don’t think I would even want to go back. I feel so incredibly bad about what happened because yes it was my fault but I still did not deserve to be treated that way or have my disability dismissed in that manner.

I recently visited P.O.D Market and overall I had a decent experience. The selection of items was good but unfortunately they're the only convenience store in miles at ASU, so they can confidently raise up the prices to impossible levels. Quarter gallon of milk for $6.50? I mean, come on. The staff were basic, nothing out of the ordinary. All in all, it's a decent place to buy some snacks and drinks if you're in a pinch, but most of my friends would recommend buying from a grocery store in advance if you have the time.

Not only is the food overpriced, some of the staff are rude, especially the grumpy little beta male who works the register in the morning

Convenient location and good hours, but WAY overpriced!!! You’d be better off going to the convenience store down the street. Don’t waste your money here!

Way overpriced for a gallon milk. Why is a single gallon almost 6 bucks. Unless this milk is coming from Jesus Christ's nipple itself then go elsewhere. Food is mediocre. Some kid said the ready to eat burritos were great (someone probably threatened him to say that ) but unless you like chewy tortillas don't drop 5 bucks on it. Cashiers are great tho.
