The biggest thank you to Laura, manager in the floral department for the most beautiful, elegant, radiant and aromatic bouquet of flowers. She was so accommodating in creating the most stunning floral arrangement to adorn our reception for a big meeting with our executives from corporate. It was admired by everyone in our office!

Pay close attention to what you buy here. Bought a bag of washed, ready-to-eat green beans that looked okay from the outside, but turned out to be slimy with several spoiled beans in the middle. Credit customer service with a quick no-questions refund, but still, I had to make a second trip just for that. Bought a bottle of Claude's brisket marinade and only after I got it home did I discover it was labeled 5 months past its sell-by date. Sure, I should have checked in the store, and will from now on, but I guess I didn't expect that a Safeway would be selling expired bottled goods. On top of this they always--always!--seem to be out of grocery carts at the entrance, and you have to go scrounging in the parking lot before you can shop. This supermarket always used to work for me, but now I am not so sure. Maybe they think that since many if not most of their customers are ASU students, they can cut corners? Maybe time to drive another few blocks down Rural to the Fry's?

Great Safeway location. It's always clean and well stocked. Their staff are great! Pharmacy is always on point.

Customer service manager Emily is very rude. Went in to make an SRP bill payment with my debit card. Come to find out their system isn't setup for SRP bill payment. She did a refund but now have to wait 24 hours for it to be refunded to my bank account. She was very rude and not at all empathetic. For a customer service manager you think she'd be the example to her employees yet her helper was more apologetic than she was.

Worst Safeway I've ever been In, butcher closes at 7:00 and the guy behind there is rude as anyone I've ever talked to, highly recommend going down the street to frys

worst shopping experience ever just a bunch of judgemental jerks from the store manager who treated me like trash cause i gave another homeless a cigarette after buying 2 packs at his store, to the dyke who said i dont like your language at chexkout and rushed me out even though i bought 200$ in groceries no respext or customer service. i didnt even get a chance to ebter my frys card so i prolly am out 50 dollars in savings for all tge deals i carefully picked i hope they all lose their shizzle to covid

I am a single malt 12 yr only- usually. But on a budget, this is drinkable - available only at Safeway. $16 ish ??

All the tea needs to be spilled. The managers are completely rude and don't care about cashiers, courtesy clerks, deli clerks, starbucks staff or anyone else for that matter. Any time you try to order anything from any department if you're not white is a hit or miss. Honestly they get treated better and faster. This place has disgusting employees and the fact that the Starbucks manager literally hops lap to lap of the overnight crew is so ratchet. Literally converses and flirts openly and then has them fired because she didn't want her main to find out what she was doing lol. It's literally the saddest thing to see this grown a** woman, she watches him in the store while he's with his girlfriend that also works there. Overall I would skip this Safeway and Starbucks location and take your business else where until they find people more suitable for the jobs. Just avoid all the nasty drama.

Placed an order yesterday and was told it was out for delivery. On the tracking website it said order was cancelled so it ended up not getting delivered. I called their help line and the order was rescheduled for today and I received it promptly early this morning just after 8am. Three substitutions were made that were all acceptable and two items were missing from the order. I reported the missing items on the Safeway webside and a refund for these items was approved almost immediately. Wnen the order was rescheduled I received no confirmation and no alerts so this process needs to be improved; my first thought was that they had messed up again. I have used Safetway a few times now and am impressed with the care with which my fruits and vegetables are selected. Especially the avocados, they were absolutely perfect this time; ripe but not over ripe.
