Such a great place! My bumper popped out a bit and they popped it back in for free. They gave me an estimate to replace my bumper that was very reasonably priced and said that I could come back anytime within a year and they’d honer the labor estimate! I’ll definitely come here for all my needs going forward!!

The owner took the time to explain everything they were going to do with my car and why. He took pride in his families business and you could tell customer satification was important to him. When I picked up my car it looks like brand new and smelled like brand new! Austin was fantastic! They took my car in, assessed it quickly, and worked great with my insurance. The job was done quickly, and perfectly, and through the auto workers strike to boot. They worked quickly with my insurance to get my car to and from the shop. They were very flexible and helpful to work with me in retrieving my stuff after it was determined to be totalled and took care of everything with getting it to a salvage yard.

Top Notch service from these guys. They take pride in themselves and in their work. They were very patient and kind. And I got my car back way before they said I would probably get it. They told me it could be a couple of months, due to having to wait on parts. It was only about 2 and 1/2 Weeks.

I did my business with them totally over the phone, even though I drive past their building multiple times every day.My daughter was in an accident. I had her car towed there. I spoke with them over the phone over the course of a few days. They took care of the entire process with no BS. I highly recommend them... Satisfied customer

Took my car here to be repair as it was listed as a preferred shop thru my car insurance. It was an easy process and my car looks brand new. They explained to me that it could be a longer wait as parts are hard to get I was fine with this. I would use them again.

Communication & follow up has been absolutely non existent. Nothing was ready when I came in to pick up my car as scheduled & by the time I got the car it was dark & raining & there was no walk through on the work that was done. I was just told that there were parts still needed with no ETA & if I had any problems with the work that was done it would be addressed when I came back in upon arrival of the remaining parts. When I could see the car in daylight the next day I immediately noticed a number of problems & contacted the GM who didn’t seem to be very interested. I finally received a message that the backorder arrived & called to bring my car in but was told that was a mistake & parts were still needed. I was told the GM would check on the back order & call me back by the end of the day but it has now been 2 weeks with no return call at all. I hate to leave a bad review but my experience has been & continues to be terrible.

I was involved in a rear-end, low speed collision on August 19 of this year. As the light turned green, we were both moving slowly into the intersection, but the driver behind me was distracted and hit my rear bumper when the car ahead of me slowed to stop. Not paying attention. There was enough damage to call law enforcement and start a claim with my insurance company (the other driver was not insured). My agent suggested several body shops in my area with one of them being CarStar T & S body works, in Tempe on Harl Ave. My agent explained that this shop was “set up” with them as a preferred company. I called and set up an appointment with Austin, the estimator, for August 26 at 9:00 am. Austin was very pleasant and knowledgeable and explained that they work with State Farm and have a relationship with them for exchanging documents, estimates, and payments. Austin was kind enough to give me a tour of the workshop when I asked to see their work. He took his time to make me feel comfortable and confident with their facility and methods.I was not surprised when I learned that I would not be able to bring in my 2018 Lexus RX350 until next month, on September 26th. I was very surprised when I did bring it in on the 26th and he told me the work would be finished later that week on the 28th!! Three days! He told me that he had all the parts, the slot was scheduled, and the technician was ready to change out the parts and paint them to match. I was very impressed! My greatest worry was being without the car for a long time (I had read reviews from other companies of people not getting their cars for several months and waiting for parts to come in). Austin did exactly what he told me he would do. The work was perfect, and I am completely satisfied with the outcome and the entire process of working with CarStar T&S body works, of Tempe.I waited this long to write this review because I wanted to be certain that all of the complex computer sensors and technology were in good working order. All of it is working perfectly. I would highly recommend this company for auto body and paint work.Services: Painting

I really love the fact that this is a family owned business. The father and son are so nice. However I feel like there was a huge lack in communication between themselves and with me. I had to keep calling and chasing after them to get updates on my car. They had my car for a month. I understand parts take time to come etc, but there was never any follow through. Like if they said your car will be ready Wednesday but then something happened they never called to update me on the status or when it might be ready.Service: Body & Trim
