I love coming here to grab supplies. Pricing is competitive with other similar quality leather/craft supply shops. If you have any questions or are looking for advice, it can be hit or miss. They do have some friendly and knowledgeable employees- but some won't even acknowledge you when you walk into the shop. I have asked questions and was met with either a wealth of information or simply told to "google it". Nice stock of stuff. Usually they have everything in stock that I need. Leather is a little pricy- but that's everywhere now. It's nice having a semi-near by Tandy location!

I would give 5 stars for the selection of store items but just couldn’t get over the customer service! If I had more customer service I clearly would have purchased more items. I’m from out of town. Disappointing. I wondering if I should have made the extra drive up into phoenix store instead? Or any other leather store in Arizona?

I needed rivets for project. Not only did I buy the rivets but I was given a lesson on how to use them what tools I need to set the rivets. I received great customer service. I felt like I was the only customer in the store. I will recommend Tandy in Tempe. I am going back to take some classes. They are just great people I had a great experience at this store. The products was great and oh the double sized tape I can't live without it now. Go take some classes. Go buy the best quality products around!!!

I read the reviews about Tandys, so I decided to come see for myself. The staff did ask if I needed help and assisted me with my questions as well as allow me to observe there projects. I appreciate the above and beyond help of Kassandra Wilson. They didn’t disturb me or follow me around the store. Great place, friendly staff.

The store is filled with every possible thing needed for leather work. The selection is impressive.The people who work there...not nearly as impressive. We walked in and everyone was in the back.No greeting, no "how can I help you." We wandered around aimlessly. I very loudly announced if no one wanted to help I can shop elsewhere. My husband is far more patient then me, walked to the back, interrupted their chat session, and asked for help.If you know what you need and where it is, this store is great. If you need help, shop elsewhere

I have never ever worked with leather before, but have a project that called for leather straps. Not only does Tandy leather have an amazing selection in store, their staff is also very knowledgeable and great at answering your questions. Jason helped me find exactly what I needed and answered every question I had on how to use the products I was purchasing and the best way to go about my project. I really appreciate all the assistance, and recommend this to anyone in need of leather/ leather crafting tools. Very cool place.

They are always really nice in here and super helpful with picking out items. They have a great selection and knowledgeable staff and we always make it a point to stop by whenever we're in the neighborhood.

cassandra is a gem to say the least. Claiming she’s the assistant manager, when we asked to speak to a manager. Sadly Tandy, their product quality and their personnel have fallen.Go in to return a leather belt that was cracked. She refused to return the belt. It was bought under our account, but they couldn’t find it. They “changed” to a new system and it wasn’t in there. Aside from the fact that they put the name in the account in WRONG. They more than likely sold it to the wrong account. I assumed the information was saved in the system and didn’t keep the receipt.

It's been 2 years and I'm still waiting on the gift certificate I was promised but when I ask they keep saying corporate is working on it. Time to test out Amazon tools

20 + years in the business...I Loved the store, I used to work for Tandy Corporate in the 90's, and ran some of the manufacturing and design. This really brought back memories...nice store that's well organized and the two guys that helped us were absolutely great!
