We went there from out of town to deposit a large cashiers check and cash out some US Savings Bonds. Chose this branch as it was closest to the airport. Had a pick up there. Dealt with Jordan. She took care of the deposit quickly. Also dealt with Savings Bonds quickly and efficiently. It was a relief as we have been to other credit unions where no one has done Savings Bonds. Jordan was great. Thanks So Much !!! A+++

I have always had great service with Alaska Federal credit Union, now that their Global credit union, I'm not sure. I can't find my bank account number on the app. .So I called the customer service number. They tell me for security reasons they don't list my bank account number on my app. OK, but I called today to get that number so I can make a transaction, they say the whole time is 10 minutes, well, that 10 minutes turned into 25 minutes when somebody finally got on the phone with me. I answered all their security questions, but she was not able to give me the account number, and transferred me to the help desk. 35 minutes later, the helpdesk calls me back to ask me a laundry list of personal questions before they could give me my account number. I could've driven to the branch and back in rush-hour traffic to get what I needed. It was an hour just to have someone provide me with my electronic bank acct number. This is 2024 and a financial institution should not have service like this. GOLBAL FEDERAL CREDIT UNION, DO BETTER!!!!!

Torn on rating, because the branch location has no control over the major mess corporate made in this ridiculous name change. Being from Alaska, it was very convenient having Alaska USA branches in Arizona, so I could still do local banking without having to switch everything. So I really appreciate the multiple locations here, State-side. (What I don't appreciate is their name change has screwed up just about everything including online login- it's all just a hassle of a "global" issue.) This branch, in specific, was probably one of the most pleasant I've visited. Kind of hidden in the Tempe Marketplace complex waaaay in back right off the side of Rio Salado. It's pretty much the only entity in that corner, so it's easy to find & parking is abundant. The facility is very clean inside. I was one of two customers so there was no wait time- crazy for around lunch hour on a Tuesday. All of the reps at the counter were eager enough to wave me over! Better busy than bored, lol. The clerk assisting me was very professional & polite. I needed a cashier's check. The entire process was quick & easy. ...but of course their signature pad was malfunctioning. They update EVERYTHING else, but not the crucial electronics or website logins. She managed to maneuver easy enough by basic troubleshooting jerking the Ethernet cord out of it & reinserting. Did the trick. I was in & out less than 10 minutes. And I appreciate that! But, I'm still peeved, more than annoyed with their terrible rebranding decision. This branch earns the stars, but I'm not sure how much longer I'm going to tolerate their "global" functioning before I pull out to a more reliable credit union. I initially joined because of the access to my Alaska account in Arizona, being able to have a branch no matter what State I'm in, since my main financial institution does not have a branch up there. But, the headache of their rebranding is proving that it might be time to move on. With everything being electronic, this is the first time I've even visited a branch in a LONG time! The facility & staff here are lovely. I appreciate the customer service, ease & very swift assistance. It would be nice if other institutions were as patient & friendly.

DONT WASTE YOU TIME WITH THIS BANK!! I made a deposit and they lost $400!!! Yes....they can not find it! The teller did not confirm the amount and l stupidly trusted she would check the full amount! Also their system is sooo behind! Overall not a good institution!!

I went to this location for the first time to check on the status of a wire transfer and have a bill of sale notarized for a car purchase. Adam was very helpful in answering our questions about the wire transfer and in getting the bill of sale notarized. His knowledge and customer service were exceptional. We had a good experience here.

So far we have had a really good experience with this bank. I recommend checking them out. Over the phone has been easy and helpful to communicate with. The location at Tempe Marketplace had nice customer service in person.

When this was TCF Bank, they were great. Tellers were always nice, helpful and friendly. Once they sold out to Alaska they started nickel and dime-ing every last thing. You can't even use the coin machine for free, even if you're depositing the money. Before the bank transition took place they sent me no less than 8 requests via phone, email and mail to confirm my info for the transfer. I confirmed every one of them and they still didn't have the info. I had to call in because I never got a confirmation. This happened with my daughter's teen account as well and we just withdrew the money and closed the account. It wasn't worth the trouble. They told me not to change my direct deposit info with work and assured me they did it for me as a courtesy. Guess what happened? They lost my direct deposit! I would have changed banks after that but I'm in the process of buying a home and didn't want any confusion. I called today for basic info on a wire transfer for escrow. I just needed the cutoff time and fee amount. The rep who answered took all my account info and then transferred me to "someone else". I sat on hold for 10 minutes before I finally hung up. Why is a rep qualified to answer the phone and take my bank account info, but apparently not qualified to give me basic wire info?!? If a bank can't even provide basic information on their services, what is the point of me banking with them?This bank is beyond frustrating and their customer service is non-existant. Once my home purchase is completed, I will be closing my 2 remaining accounts with them. Please remember that your customers have many other options for banking. Just because you took over our accounts, doesn't mean we're stuck with you.Update: My husband went to a different branch on McKellips hoping for better customer service with the wire transfer. He got there at 1. The wire transfer cutoff is 1:30. I googled it because I couldn't get anyone on the phone to give me the info. Instead of providing the service we asked for, the teller argued with him for 10 minutes, and then went to the back to ask a manager, who confirmed the cutoff time is 1:30! Anyway, because of another incompetent branch and more untrained employees, we missed the wire cutoff. Thanks, guys. Not sure if I just lost the home I'm trying to purchase because of you. I wish I could give negative stars.

This bank is the greatest I've been banking here for some time. The staff is friendly and go above and beyond. I love baking treats for the staff to show they are appreciated. I've give these staff 20 out of 10????

This is the worst bank I have ever been to closing my account as soon as I can. I try to pay rent it post the landlord has it and then they take it back and I’ve got hundreds of dollars of fees now I try to deposit at the ATM and they have to do a dispute that’s going to take seven days meanwhile bills are still coming out of my account with late fees if they don’t
