My boyfriend owns We Haul RV Transport based out of MN, we were in the Phoenix area and his transport truck started to leak. He was able to identify the source and quickly started to call around, he stumbled across The Car Shop in Tempe via a Google search and quickly called. Travis answered and listened to our vehicle concerns. Much to our surprise, Travis made some calls and was able to get to the truck looked at and fixed all with in two hours. His customer service is top notch along with his communication skills. He is far and honest. Highly recommend!

Highly recommended. I went in there with a whole list of issues to look into, and the team performed a thorough inspection of my vehicle. They emailed me the invoice and gave me time to decide what to fix. Very transparent, prompt and kind service.

The car shop really came through for us perfectly. We live out of town and my daughter had a problem with her truck while she is away at college. Travis coordinated everything seamlessly. Communication was on point. Problem was resolved quickly and seamlessly. Highly recommend.

Great locally owned business. Travis was who I spoke with on the phone and helped me out when I came in. New front brakes and rotors for $540. Fair pricing, quality service, will definitely be back!

I took my car to the car shop after getting two previous quotes saying that I need front and rear break pad/rotor replacement. The car shop made a plan to do the front and then inspect the rear again at the next oil change. The total cost was slightly higher than the previous car repairs I went to, but a good service is worth it. They didn't wanna just pile the car up with repairs and actually suggest what is needed at the time.Great experience. Will be going here from now on

I took my car in because the AC was broken and a friend recommended The Car Shop. After a $150 diagnostic fee they said that the AC fan within my car was broken and quoted me $860 to fix (350 for the replacement part and the rest in labor). They also included some other charged like adding more freon and some other things. As a young female college student I am always worried that I am being over charged for my lack of knowledge in cars. I ended up calling to another shop that looked at it and they said half the charges where bogus and un-necessary. The other shop ended up charging me 150 for the part and 100 for labor fixing my car in under an hour. It is frustrating to have an experience like this because when I first went into the shop the workers where very kind and seemed like they had my best interest at heart. Moral of the story is always get a second opinion and know that car shops will over charge.

They had a lot of work fixing my car emissions. But they got the job done right and even took my car into emissions testing for the test. Thanks Paul and Travis for the great work.

Fast, Efficient & Transparent.We have been using The Car Shop for a few years and I will say, they have never let us down. They keep to their word on turn around time and cost/scope of repairs. No gotchas later on. Straight up professionals.Had my Condenser Coil and Front Blower Motor replaced about two weeks ago on our 2012 Town & Country and everything is still running strong.They even went one step further to recharge the refrigerant in the system (it was close to flat on refrigerant) to be able to have AC for my wife and kids (daily commuter) until the parts came in the following week, at a great rate and this was after squeezing us in to a very tightly scheduled Friday!Diagnostic performed on Friday, Parts were in and would have been installed Monday Morning but I had to personally reschedule to Friday. So they had to wait on me to get the repair done ?. Shows how fast of a turn around they can do (if parts/schedule are readily available of course).Travis is by far my favorite Rep there. He is on point and takes pride in his work to a whole different level. Keep doing what you do good sir. These gentlemen have a customer for life!Services: Auto A/C recharge

I had a cylinder 1 misfire, The Car Shop said the plug was stuck. Took my Prius to Toyota, about $4,600 later it was fixed, then it wasn't--check engine light came on one day later. Took it to the Car shop (was told my pump and stat were going bad, why didn't Toyota just replace?), service people at Toyota said the old parts were working, so they put them back in (never told me that, 200,000 miles on those parts). Was going to cost $1,200+ more at Toyota--but.... The Car Shop said, why didn't Toyota ask me about replacing standard procedure parts at 200,000+ miles. I had no good answer. When Toyota was confronted with these facts, they kindly sold me the part at cost, and labor free (could have been done while the engine was out the first time).This isn't the first time I've had issues at Toyota, this was just the worst one. The Toyota are great cars, but take them to The Car Shop first. It could save you thousands in one repair (I mean the bad ones, but generally speaking you'll do better at The Car Shop). They are very honest, upfront, and tell you how it is. And will make good on whatever, I don't even ask anymore. It's just the right place to go.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Had car repaiRed and it fell apart a few months later. Since it wasn’t contracted with my insurance they refused to cover it despite lifetime warranty and geico told me to go to gerber Instead not very helpful or loyal to customers.
