My issue is more with the online store than the brick and mortar version although the service there usually sucks also. Just spent an hour trying to buy a simple gift card. Unable to complete purchase even though I tried using a valid credit card and a valid PayPal account. Checked all my info at least 3 times to be sure it was correct. Attempted to call the customer service number provided, got run around keypad circles despite requesting a service rep and having the bot acknowledge that request. When it seemed I was going to finally talk to someone, heard to beeps and was moved to a customer satisfaction survey. Took the survey and issued all ones. I could have driven to the store and been done quicker. Tried Lowe's whom I detest almost as bad. 1 and done in a couple minutes.

This is the Home Depot closest to where I live. We always come here for any home projects or just to pick up replacement parts. 1) Our home has lots of different light bulbs and we are able to find all the kinds (even the under the kitchen counter light bulbs that I have never seen anywhere else before)2) Love the once a month free kid workshop they have on Saturday! Great fun for all ages and helps them to learn to assemble with basic tools!3) Had to replace all the bathroom tiles as a result of replacing entire sewage line. After going to several tile stores with crazy prices ($$$$), realized Home Depot has tiles that doesn't need ordering and can get enough to retile bathroom floor for much less ($)4) I agree that sometimes it is hard to get someone to help you (requires walking around asking) but once I find someone, they are usually very helpful. More than once, if I bring the broken part, they are even willing to open the package to let me make sure it is the right part.All in all, I think this location is pretty awesome!

I shop at Home Depot when I'm working on my house. Which is a rare occasion. BUT I LOVE THE FACT THEY SUPPORT MILITARY. So I go to Home Depot. Well today this female with large lips and bushy eyebrows, I didn't care about her name, told me the only way I can use a military discount is to download the app which will only take two minutes. It would take her two seconds to check my ID and scan a barcode. I'm already doing a self check out so god forbid this lady actually does her job. I normally go to a different Home Depot and they have never told me they would honor my military discount because I didn't care to get the app. So the older veterans that don't have smartphones. What about them.

Jr. at the returns counter was so friendly and did his job well. Thank you Jr. This is a pretty great location as well. The bathrooms were very clean too.

Ordered Bachel Contemporary Black Kitchen Baker's Rack with Open Shelves and Hanging Hooks on October 8 and was told 7-10 days. With logistics issues I waited 21 days before inquiring where my item was. It is now November 16 and I still have not received my item. I was charged for item on October 8 to my Home Depot credit card but 5 weeks later item has not arrived? Seem fishy. I have called weekly to get status updates & each week I am told "it will be here next week". IF YOU ARE HAVING SHIPPING ISSUES WHY WOULD YOU pUT THIS ITEM ON A "SPECIAL BUY" "BLACK FRIDAY SALE"? Worst customer service I have received in years. I went with Home Depot instead of Amazon or other places that had cheaper prices to avoid this problem. Guess you live & you learn! Keep up the horrible customer service Tempe Home Depot. Negative 5 stars!

I bought a 3 piece appliance bundle not realizing that my home's electric panel would not support the newer appliances. I was told by an electrician that if I replaced the electric stove for a gas stove, that he could make everything work. WELL, HOME DEPOT will not accept returns after 48 hrs. So, I am stuck with a brand new stove that I cannot use unless I pay the $6,000 to increase the amperage to my electric box. I WILL NEVER BUY APPLIANCES FROM HOME DEPOT AGAIN. I was told by the TEMPE "acting store manager" (he didn't give me his name) that if they were to accept the return of my stove they would have to mark it down when they put it back out on the floor...SO YOU ARE TELLING ME THAT A MULTI-BILLION DOLLAR COMPANY CANNOT AFFORD TO LOSE A HUNDRED DOLLARS ON AN APPLIANCE THAT THEY BOUGHT AT COST AND .... LOST THE REPLACEMENT SALE OF A GAS STOVE (which was more expensive that the electric stove). Your competitor is only a mile further up the road. Everytime I visit this Home Depot there is at least one store representative that will ask if I need assistance. The staff is very helpful and makes it easy to find what is needed.

This is beyond the worst of the worst.1 employee she was on her Cell phone and when I ask her where was the restroom she rolled her eyes and pointed. After that went over to power tools ask for sand paper and a heavy set woman put her finger up as she seemed out of breath and told me to weight. That's when a customer told me were the item was located. Took 2 sec. Keep driving too somewhere else because they don't care about customers there for sure

Waiting 6 months and counting for countertop instillation. Going on my 3rd reschedule and the countertop factory aka there vendor has the worst communication skills imaginable. It's next to impossible to contact anyone all while gaining interest with my Home Depot loan even Home Depot doesn't have a clue don't go here for any services outside of materials.

I ordered 10 moving boxes for curbside pick up and was there today for 45+ mins. After waiting in the car for over 15 mins I made the first phone call. A lady picked up the call and told me it's gonna be a few mins. Then about another 10 mins she walked out l, asked my order number again and told me will be another few mins. I was already confused when I checked in online aren't they supposed have my order number and pick up item ready? Ok so I kept waiting, over 15 mins later I made another call, same lady picked up and told me "it's gonna be another few mins". I decided to walk in to just pick up my boxes since I already waited in my car for over 30 mins. Waited in the line and finally got to talk to the same lady, I don't wanna mention her name. at this time it was already 45 mins arrived then store. Now she tells me she couldn't find my order and just sent someone to the back to grab my boxes. I said ok I'll need to talk to a manager. She said why you can talk to me. I said you're the same lady who answered my calls and came out the last 45 mins and told me my order is not being found. I need to talk to a manager please. She asked me what I want from a manager. I said at least I need to let them know the situation and this is making me very frustrated. Maybe they can provide me a store credit or an apology. She said this out loud" well I can tell you NOW that's not gonna happen!" Then I asked her are you the manager. She said no but still trying to argue. I cut her off "I don't wanna talk to you if you're not the manager! Thx". So finally the manager came I was trying to tell him the whole situation. When I mentioned I came in the store n being in the store for 15-20 mins now after waited 30 mins in the car, the lady cut me off again said "she was here for like 5 mins". I ignored her and told the manager to check his camera and see who's being honest and who's a little liar. There was a security guy next to me while I was in the store the whole time, he saw my struggles and I told the manager to ask him how long I was in the store after 30 mins wait in the car. The manager Ben or Dan apologized right away and went to the back and grab my boxes for me. He offered me a refund for these boxes and said if I like he can issue me some store credit. I was mad when I said I need a store credit but it's not what I was really looking for. I appreciated his apologies and his professional way to handle the issue. I said no to the refund or store credit, instead of that he gave me a free scotch tape to help for my move. And that was really appreciated. Although it's only $3 dollars. I can see why Ben or Dan (sorry I wasn't paying attention to his name) is on his position as a manager. He's very professional and cares about the customers. I'm extremely mad and uncomfortable with the way the lady who talked to me and accusing me. I'm giving 4 stars and it's all for the manager. Without him today's experience would be a 1 star!
