I LOVE my Jeep Cherokee Sport 2000. I have owned it for 21 years. In those years I have a had a few different shops work on it. TRI CITY AUTO REPAIR is the only place I will bring it now. They had me as a loyal customer from their first repair on my Jeep about 4 years ago. The are a first class shop. They stay in contact with you, do what they say, and have highly skilled people in all areas of repair. I am very picky with my Jeep, I want to drive it forever. And I know a lot about vehicles, having done some of my own repairs and maintenance on earlier vehicles. They treated me with friendliness and respect from day one, and I am impressed with the skill level, knowledge, and professionalism of everyone who works there. I don't sweat repairs anymore-we all have to deal with that-but I know it will be done right, and that gives me peace of mind. I can't say enough about how good it feels to have true professionals working on the vehicle you love.Thank you TRI CITY AUTO REPAIR!!Services: Oil change

Wow, great service!! I got gas in the morning and when I was pulling out of the gas station my car started shaking aggressively. The immediate questions hit my mind. How am I going to get my son to school and then how do I get to work? I freaked out! As a single mom, I never know how to handle car stuff. I found Tri-City Transmission and Auto Repairs with a quick Google map search. I called and Dave walked me through the solutions. I got my car in, it was a simple spark plug repair. They also addressed an annoying oil leak that I have lived with for months. I picked my car up that afternoon and it has never run better! Thank you Tri-City!Services: Electrical

When I picked my car up the other day I realized I have been coming here for over 10 years. I mentioned it to Dave the owner and he remembered exactly what the repair was on my very first visit. I barely remember that car. The Mazda 3, the car that got me through college and my first job out of college. I keep coming back because they always treat me right. On a few occasions I have tried something else for convenience and quickly remember why I only want to come here. This last trip to their shop after checking my car, they called a friend at the Buick dealer and got a repair on my car warrantied even though it was out of warranty. It is that type of service that tells me they always have my best interest at heart.

I refer to this place as Tri City Transmission, but as the pictures show, it's actually Tri City Auto Repair - and as it should be. The work and customer service is top-notch and I've never felt that I have been taken advantage of nor have I ever felt that the issue wasn't completely resolved when I left their shop. I don't come here often, but when I do, I know that I will be dealt with fairly and professionally. Thank youServices: Transmission repair

I am a salesman. I walked into Tri-City's front office. The owner was extremely rude. I never said anything rude in response to his anger. I was calm and polite. He kept repeating that he didn't talk to salesmen, even though I asked him a very simple question. Do you use epoxy glue? He yelled at me at the top of his lungs, "Get out!" He reminded me of Will Smith at the Oscars slapping Chris Rock. He physically rushed around the counter from behind the Covid plastic screen to try to start a fight with me. I couldn't believe it. Was this guy okay in the head? Why was he rushing towards me?In that moment, he actually verbally threatened me with physical violence and made me believe he was going to start a fight with me. Thank God there were no woman or children in the waiting room. I was near the door. "Should I run out of the shop?" I asked myself. I never said anything wrong and never once raised my voice. All I did was ask a simple question. I think said, "I was just asking you, if you used epoxy." When he saw I wasn't scared of him and that I was just calmly standing there, he stopped rushing towards me and started berating me. He was yelling at me at the top of his lungs. Please be kind. Kindness cost nothing.I let him know how his behavior made me feel and turned around and walked out of his shop. Then I drove around the corner and cried for ten minutes in my car thinking of how much I hated my job and my life. I am a sales man and it is difficult for me to make a living. It doesn't cost anything to be kind. But you will lose business by being rude. How many people think Will Smith was justified in slapping Chris Rock? Think about that Dave. Tell me, do your employees actually like you? Please respect sales people please. These are difficult times. During 20211, Covid has made if difficult for everyone. I am leaving this review because I have had to make money for myself by actually going out onto the streets and knocking on doors and and walking form company to company. Every once in a while I meet an asshole like Dave. Life is hard. Please don't be mean to sales people who are just trying to survive. Don't pull a Will Smith like Dave!Show some support by going to my website and watching my homepage video. Thank you and God bless! Superbondglue.com

Trusted auto repair is back! Last year, when Airpark Auto Repair in the Scottsdale airpark area was purchased by a typical auto-repair-ripoff artist, at least one of the honest folks from there found a home at Tri-City Auto Repair. This is a division of Tri-City Transmission, to which the prior (honest) owners of Airpark would refer people for specialized transmission work. You can rest easy that Aaron at Tri-City will honestly diagnose your auto issues, recommend any repairs or service (all at reasonable prices), and also let you know which of the repairs and service are urgent and which can wait - and if so, for how long. Most of us are justifiably terrified of taking our vehicles to the mechanics for fear of being ripped off, but Tri-City is honest and fair. I have ZERO reservations recommending these folks!

Easy to get to, easy to deal with. I only come here for my car repairs as I've never felt cheated on the cost or quality of repair. They provide all car repair; foreign and domestic, from air conditioning to transmission work. Only downside is there isn't a rental car place next door. There's several with in a few mile range and of course some will pick up you up at the shop. The staff are easy to deal with, customer service is definitely a priority, and I've always felt that they take ownership of my car problem. On average it takes about three days for major repairs and about a day for basic stuff. I wish they were open on the weekends, but they have a lock box for key drop at night and on the weekends I'll keep coming here and strongly recommend you try this shop.

I've been using the same auto shop for years because it is close to my work. A friend of mine was bragging to me about a good experience he had with Tri-City Auto Repair. I am pretty loyal so I felt a bit apprehensive about going to a different shop, but I did anyway. I can't tell you how refreshing it was to receive great customer service. Right off the bat, they gave me a tour of the shop explaining their process. It was evident they took their jobs very serious leaving no detail undone. I realized I had found a new home. Thanks for the great work and the warm service! Andy

It's rare for me to write a review as a customer these days, because it's rare that I ever experience "above and beyond" customer service anymore. Tri-City Automotive has hands-down proved me that there are businesses out there that are willing to go the extra mile to show their customers are valued and appreciated. I am a single mom and admittedly know nothing about cars. I brought my car in to Tri-City and not only was I greeted warmly, with a smile and actual eye-contact upon arrival but the owner Dave Riccio took the time to sit down with me and explain exactly what was going on with my car. In the past when I've brought my car in for work to a dealer I'm never exactly sure if Im unnecessarily paying for more than I need. At Tri-City, they took the time to educate and explain what was happening with my car and broke down the pricing accordingly. They offered me a rental car as a courtesy and completed the work exactly when they said they would. My experience at Tri-City has been exceptional and I highly recommend you support this local business that truly operates with integrity!
