Connor at member services and koral went above and beyond to help me with my issue! They really gave me all the information I needed and went above and beyond they are the reason I am deciding to stay with Tru west long term! When you’re dealing with Tru west just know you are dealing with REAL people who care and will do what they can! Thank you both again!

This institution has no compassion for the elderly, they strive to make banking as inconvenient as possible. And they're good at that.

I wish there were option for less than one star. I have a credit card with these people and there was fraud from all over the world and they will not help. I have $600 in charges they decided that they were going to pay 60 of it. I work with several agents both locally and overseas and ultimately they just ended up slamming my credit score and charging fees. Will be getting to one of locations to close my savings account ASAP! Criminals

Do NOT work with their Credit union unless you enjoy being harassed, insulted, yelled at and then have management disregard the abuse of their employees when you finally had enough and match their energy. These reps act as if they have ZERO home training and wonder why customers do not feel comfortable giving out personal information, ie new address, place of employment. I’m sorry but if you speak to me with such contempt then I most definitely will not disclose that information and TruWest only has their own reps to blame for this. I have never been so disgusted with a company as I am with TruWest to the point that I reached out to the dealer I bought my car from to let them know so that they do not subject any further potential customers to this disgusting behavior.

I recently had a highly frustrating experience with Truwest Credit Union that has left me extremely dissatisfied with their services. I have encountered numerous issues with my card, leading to constant declines and an inability to reach their support team for assistance. This has resulted in significant inconvenience and, most recently, left me stranded for two days, forced to sleep in my car.One of the main issues I faced was the constant card declines, even after I had requested the removal of my spending limit. Despite approving transactions through their text confirmation system which was delayed until the following morning, I found that my card continued to be declined, specifically over a $50 deposit I owed to a hotel. This meant that I had already paid for the room but was unable to access it, resulting in further inconvenience and the need to sleep in my car.Apart from the technical glitches that caused my card to decline, I also found the Truwest credit cards to be flimsy and unreliable. They hardly work anywhere, adding to the frustration and limitations of using their services.Additionally, if you are considering opening a business account with Truwest Credit Union, be prepared for a difficult and cumbersome process. They require an excessive amount of paperwork compared to other financial institutions. In contrast, when I opened a business account with Chase, I found the process to be incredibly smooth and easy.Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend Truwest Credit Union. The frequent card declines, lack of timely support, and difficulty in obtaining a business account make it a poor choice for anyone seeking reliable banking services. I highly recommend exploring other options that prioritize customer convenience and satisfaction

They don't know their head from their a*** Nearly every point of interaction with them over the course of being a member was painful, inefficient, sloppy, and inept. They couldn't get anything right. Nothing! The onboarding, exiting, technology/websites, staff, responsiveness, everything, literally everything was a complete and total disaster. I can't even say one good thing about banking with TruWest and Securities America. Run away screaming.

Do you like dealing with MVD? Yes? Then this is the bank for you!Highlights include:1) Extended Customer Service hold times.2) When you actually speak with a “representative” you are transferred to someone who will “better assist” you.3) You get transferred so much that you eventually speak with the same person who, guess what...TRANSFERS YOU TO SOMEONE WHO CAN BETTER ASSIST YOU.4) Frequent apologies for not being able to assist you.5) Frequent apologies for having to transfer you.6) Frequent assurances that your call is important to them.7) Snazzy hold music.

I called on my auto loan for deferred payment due to coronavirus and was told I was approved. I called my bank and they said nothing needed to be done because Tru West initiates the withdrawl. Then 2 days earlier than normal Tru West took out the money as a normal payment. Don't trust them for one second! Lying crooks!
