Staff was extremely helpful and quick. The truck I had rented had not been returned so they gave me an alternative that worked at a slightly reduced cost. If I need to rent equipment again I will definitely rent from this location.

Searched all day for someone to help repair my 7 pin connector so I could haul my trailer, finally someone suggested Uhaul. They were able to get me in immediately and fix the problem for hundreds of dollars less than other places quoted. 5/5 would go back again

The entire experience went well. The staff was helpful, and the trailer I rented performed well on a 1700 mile trip. I will definitely utilize U-Haul services on future moves.

I only asked for one thing on my 1800-mile cross country trip. I wanted a truck with cruise control. I was told when I booked it that they couldn't guarantee my truck would have cruise control, but that they only rent out the newest trucks for people traveling long distances one way and all the newest trucks were equipped with cruise control. I ended up with an older truck with 135,000 miles on it and it did not have cruise control. Because of this one reason they get a below average rating from me. I am 67 years old with bad knees and had a real hard time traveling that distance.... need to listen to your customers request!

"I recently rented a U-Haul truck from the Las Vegas location and had a great experience until I returned the truck to the Tempe U-Haul Center on March 4th. Unfortunately, I left my Samsung headset in the truck and called the next morning to retrieve it. The initial customer service representative was helpful and told me to stop by the center to collect my item. However, when I arrived, I was shocked to be told that the truck was not available and was empty. The manager's response was completely unacceptable - instead of apologizing and offering a solution, they lectured me on being more responsible with my belongings and stated that there was nothing they could do.
As a customer, I expect a certain level of service and respect, especially when dealing with a mistake that was easily rectifiable. The lack of empathy and unwillingness to resolve the issue was astonishing. This branch clearly prioritizes profits over customer satisfaction, and management fails to train staff to conduct a positive customer experience. I would caution others to be vigilant when dealing with the Tempe U-Haul Center and consider alternative options for their moving needs."

ANGEL IS 100% AMAZING! From the first time I came into this location, Angel was kind, knowledgeable, super helpful, and friendly. His customer service skills are well above the norm. He really makes you feel like your business is valued. My husband and I ended up shopping at only this location because of Angel. He helped us arrange equipment tow our cars, multiple U-boxes, and transport out of state. As well as all of the necessary supplies, including boxes, tape, wrapping plastic, tow-hitch, tow lock, insurance, and other necessary moving items. Angel made every possible effort to help us and make us feel secure about our multiple purchases. This guy is an amazing employee and should be rewarded for his hard work and effort. Uhaul, you have one heck of a terrific employee. Wish I had employees like this in my business, rare and hard to come by! Thank you Angel

Renting the uhaul was a smart choice I made it was pretty simple for me to move. And i had a lot of room left over in the uhaul for other extra last minute items.
I laugh at myself because I didn't know the uhal had a built in ramp, I found that out after I started unloading at the new place ?

For a trip that was only up the street (5 miles MAX) they charged us for 70+ miles. They gave us a truck with barely any gas and gave us the wrong paperwork for the vehicle with incorrect noted milage. They said next time to check the paperwork to make sure it matches. They were very unhelpful and had zero empathy. Many U-Haul locations, avoid this one! Management does not care

THIS BUSINESS IS NOT LOCATED WHERE GOOGLE SHOWS IT!PLEASE, U-Haul. correct this entry ASAP. The manager where this place is located is AWESOME and I had a first-rate experience, but I wasted time and gas trying to locate the place the night before. Good thing I didn't wait until crunch time when I really needed to get the truck.
