This is the most limited Whole Foods I've ever been to. The refrigerator section is consistently empty and never restocked, and the same frequently happens with the self-serve food. Instead of stocking food and perhaps adding more food options, they chose to go with in-store bar As if the campus areas needed another bar. At a grocery store. The food is overpriced and prepared specifically to rip you off. Don't even bother with the sushi, as it doesn't come either condiments and is 90% rice. Everything else they sell, also, is low quantity for premium prices. Go to Trader Joe's a few blocks over and you'll spent a fraction of the price for better food, and you'll get three times the amount. This place is a joke.

I like this location a lot! It is always clean and well organized. The parking is good, and I'm happy they have the Amazon drop off. Then, we can get some shipping done too

This is a very interesting location for a WFM, which weirdly makes it enjoyable. The entrance from the parking lot is on the second floor. Regardless, I love their vegan pastries and their hot and cold buffets. Yes, it is pricey, it’s Whole Foods, but we know that. Unless you don’t, then let me fill you in. As you shop around, you’ll start feeling anxious, almost as if browsing alone had a fee.

Parking garage was very scary to navigate, my 75 year old mother took me and my daughter to Whole Foods, my mom being a retired school bus driver of the largest bus, was freaked out on how tight the right entrance was and trying to navigate her Chevy Equinox, the turn next to the pillar was very small, with all kinds of scrapes from other cars, and getting out was like a horrifying ride at an amusement park, at one point not knowing how far the dip was in the road, the escalators where incredibly steep. Cashier was nice! I'll never go up and down that parking garage ever myself. I'm shocked a truck hasn't gotten stuck in it.

Tip: load the Whole Foods QR code for discounts while you are heading over because the internet/cell coverage here is nonexistent and their app rarely loads in store. The location has free garage parking, busiest times seem to be during lunch or prior to a Tempe event. For the most part the store is well-stocked though it would be nice to have consistent grab and go sandwich options near the deli. They recently put in self-checkout which is super handy. If you are looking for an item and can't find it at any other store, more than likely it will be here! I tried to find a cake for an anniversary party and every other location was sold out, gladly Tempe had several ready to pick up.

First time here you will most likely drive right past this location. Also, don’t park across the street and pay for parking. Instead, when between the parking complex and Whole Foods, watch for the green signs labeled (Whole Foods Parking) and it is a ramp going up and twists around.Once you’ve mastered the free Whole Foods parking you can take an elevator or an escalator down into the store itself. I noticed a smaller selection of food at this location but if you live nearby they have an Amazon Package Pickup counter at the front of the store.

Everyone is very kind here, extremely safe environment and the food is up to par. They have plenty of variety to choose from and the butcher Angel helped me out before closing and went into his freezer and got me a fresh cut of top sirloin. Everyone's very kind here and they epitomize the Whole Foods company.

I recently broke my right hand and am in a big cast. When I tried to check out, I was directed to use the self check out. I went to the one closest to an employee. As I struggled, she said, “let me know if you need any help.” I obviously did, but, she didn’t. She ignored me as I left, nearly in tears. Terrible experience.

Ordered a vegan cheese pizza tonight for pick up at 6:40pm. When I arrived at the store, I was informed that it was burnt and would be another 15-20 minutes. This is the remade pizza that is somehow burnt and undercooked. Also, that is vegan cheese. When I went back to the prepared foods station, they insisted it was. When I got home, it clearly was not - vegan cheese it not that greasy, dense or salty. The pizza was stuck to the box. Over an hour to get pizza that is inedible.

A friend recommended their bakery if I ever needed a cake. I bought a Berry Chantilly Cake for my wife's birthday. I was very impressed. It was the best store bought cake I ever had. This will now be my go-to place for cakes and other pastries.

The best Whole Foods in the area. Great staff — I would like to highlight the people at the meat and fish stations, they are extremely nice and helpful. Pastries and cakes are also surprisingly good and better than at other locations. Overall, an outstanding store.

The HOT FOODS department absolutely sucks at this location. There is never any variety on the hot foods bar. They are so bland. The hot foods here used to be good then something changed about six months ago. They suck at making brisket too. Literally, this location freakin sucks. You are better off going to the Chandler Whole Foods location off Ray Rd. and Loop-101. Their selection is way better and more plentiful than the Tempe location. Here’s the other thing, this location has no self check out lanes to speed up the process. Instead, this location opps for cashiers who operate with no sense of urgency, increasing the wait times in the already extremely long lines that form every time I go there.

I've been in this Whole Foods 3 times within the last month and I wanted to share a couple of experiences. First, there's a thin Asian man that always gives me the stink eye. I've said "hello" to the gentleman several times and each time, I was met with zero response. He just seems so unhappy there. There was a time where Whole Foods' employees always were super friendly, but I've noticed a decline in the general happiness of employees since Amazon took over. 2nd, I purchased a few items for my son who's attending ASU. We literally bought pickles, salsa, a Pizza and a few other small items. The total was $71.33. But to top it off, we got 4 small containers of ranch dressing at the salad bar for the pizza. I was charged $1.05 for each small container. For comparison, a full bottle of LiteHouse Ranch dressing at Whole Foods costs $4.99. Seriously, I'll be shopping elsewhere.
