“Allen Yeomans was amazing very helpful! Everyone else was rude and did say one word to me! Even after me trying to ask questions. Allen was the only one that had good customer service! I went to buy a recliner in a difficult time for medical usage.”
“If you are needing an HONEST, friendly and knowledgeable furniture sales person please go to this store and find Megan (hopefully I’ve got the spelling right). Megan renewed my faith in furniture sales people. She went out of her way many times over the phone and in person to find what I was asking for and to make sure the price was right. She is strait forward and is not pushy when she sees you’re not interested in something She has shown you. We went to another Ashley’s location before this Thatcher one and we left so frustrated with a pushy used car sales man “type” associate at the other store. If we are need of anything else in the furniture department I will definitely go back to Megan. Thank you so very much, Megan!!!”
Two familiar names now share one storefront. Bed Bath & Beyond and The Container Store opened their first co-branded location in Fort Worth, Texas, on May 16, and the concept is spreading to nearly two dozen stores in what the company calls phase one.
Bob's Discount Furniture is growing while its competitors shrink. The Manchester, Connecticut-based retailer reported strong fourth-quarter results in its first earnings call since going public in February, with revenue climbing 8.2% to $648.8 million. Full-year net revenue jumped 16.8% to $2.4 billion, and net income rose to $121.7 million from $87.9 million the prior year. CEO Bill Barton told analysts the company plans to open about 20 new stores in 2026 and sees a path to more than 500 locations by 2035, roughly two and a half times its current 209-store footprint across 26 states.
